This a great tea shop that I found by chance wandering in Florence streets. And it really was an…read morehappy encounter: I found here a great replacement for my "Mariage Frères" tea in Paris. The shop is just as elegant (some would say a bit snobbish, but this is a tea shop so...) and offers a great amount of choice of teas from all around the world presented in very beautiful boxes. The lady that I met this day was very helpful and nice and she helped me choose very efficiently. The prices vary from 4€ for a standard Chinese tea to 9€ for 100g of tea. La via del té has three shops total in Florence and in the other two you can seat and have a cup of tea on the spot. The via della Condotta one is only a shop. You can also buy here, besides tea, all sorts of tea pots (some very beautiful!!) and tea instruments. In brief: I highly recommend for people looking for goo quality tea!
