Shops like this struggle to compete against the like of B&M Bargains and the Pound Shop. They have to commit to huge orders and can't keep the prices so low, as the lady in Bargain World was telling us.
Still, for less than £5.00 I bought enough scourers, cloths, cleaning fluid and bleach to keep the kitchen under control for a good few months, so perhaps they can make a good fist at competition though it does take a lot of customers.
There's always an excuse to buy these things especially in a small shop like Bargain World which is full of all sorts of household stuff - kitchenware, batteries, lightbulbs, crockery and plenty else that it would take several visits to digest.
