Or if you are travelling from Manchester City Centre you can catch the X57 bus that will stop directly outside or get the train to Bramhall station which is a 10-15 min walk away. They have a very good selection of beers mainly from the UK, Belgium and German with a small selection of USA craft beer. Which is all priced very well. You will struggle to find a better price elsewhere on the beers they have for sale here. One of my favourite beer styles is Saison and they have an excellent range of them here. They also have a couple of beer lines. So you can purchase a pint to sip while you shop or sit on the beer tables outside. It's great on a hot summers day! The selection they have for sale on draft changes quite regular too. They also have a large selection of wines and spirits available. If you a throwing a party and need a great range of beers, wines and spirits then this is the one stop shop you will need. I really like this place, the selection is varied and the price is great. If you love a good beer this place is definitely worth the short trip.

I was thrilled to see my new favorite Sauvignon Blanc for 7.5 quid. I got 2 bottles and a 4 pack of Heineken. As I was checking out the clerk said, "that Heineken is alcohol free" Whoa Joe wouldn't like that. I didn't know the difference since I'm not a beer drinker... You save a fortune purchasing this in advance. It ended out being a great decision because we had to wait almost 2 hours to get checked in to our room. The next day we decided to take a tour of Bownes the town that we drove thru on our way to Windermere Beech Hotel. It was great because I saw Bargain Booze once again and they remembered me from the day before. I got some more of that wonderful wine once again. We had lots of rain the first day so we were happy to have some sun this day for our shop. Great place with very fun lake ladies to help me!

The Inn Beer Shop is a lovely little café/bar up the far end of Southport's busy Lord Street that offers customers a chance to take the weight off their seat and have a coffee and some cake for a small price. However, unlike the other cafes in the area, The Inn Beer Shop also specialises in a great range of interesting beers that are both unusual and very refreshing. Their selection is gloriously wide and you can even browse them as you sit and drink as they have a large selection of bottles on display, all lined up for your perusal. The café itself isn't massive but they make good use of the space, and there's even a pleasant seating area outside if you can't find space inside, enabling you to enjoy the perfect combination on a sunny day - great weather and great beer.

They also have regular tastings on Saturday afternoons where you can sample new lines. The reason I've given it an extra star is simple: last time I popped in they were playing a classic Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra album. I went in for a bottle or two of Merlot and spent an hour in there! I came away with some local Kin Toffee Vodka and some great local cheeses. The wines held are pretty big from all over the world. The parking is right outside the shop and it's right on the A590 so really easy to get to. The shop is open late on Thursdays and Fridays.
