I found a bench I had been hunting for plus fell in love with a beautiful leather sofa and love seat. Price was right, furniture was plush and comfy. So we did not wait and bought it on the spot (was afraid it'd be gone if I waiting until after the holidays). I just wish I had needed my whole house refurnished :) I also want to note when the furniture was delivered there was a tiny hole on a part of the sofa. The team was fantastic to work with and decided to replace the back instead of repairing. The newly made back was delivered yesterday. Trust me, you do not find customer service like this anymore. I had phone calls and emails keeping me updated on the progress. Would I buy from them again...in a heart beat!

We have had several custom pieces of furniture made for our home by the talented folks at the pumpkin patch. The quality and durability and, of course, the beauty of these pieces are unmatched. We would pay twice as much to have anything custom made by a Carpender in the Detroit area. (I am not exaggerating. We had something designed and priced out.) The similar pieces we found in retail stores were either more expensive than prices at the pumpkin patch or were neither as beautiful nor as well-made. If we lived closer, we would get more of our furniture from the pumpkin patch. The desk/dresser made for our son will last him a lifetime and hopefully become a family heirloom. Not only the was furniture perfect, but the two deliveries were handled beautifully. In addition, I have a lot of Stickley pieces and needed to match the Stickley Onondaga stain. The Stickley furniture is White Oak, and the Shipshewana pieces are Cherry. I was able to match Onondaga stain perfectly. A day doesn't go by that we don't comment about how beautiful the interior of our home looks. I couldn't be happier with Shipshewana Furniture or with the quality of Amish made furniture.
