Phoned them up and was offered a discount to make the appliance cheaper than anyone else. Ordered on Sunday morning and had the new fridge freezer in my kitchen by Monday afternoon. Was sent text messages informing of estimated delivery time and then when they where on their way to me. Delivery men where polite and friendly, they removed my old appliance and delivered the new one quickly, following covid guidance while doing so. Highly recommended, especially if close to Manchester for local delivery.

Told I would get my washing machine no later than 5 days and knowing how desperately I needed i, especially for uniforms.I was promised a top of the range machine with full warranty free delivery and installation, I was rung on the day that it was on way to me within the next hour or two so I had to arrange for someone to be there for him. i arrived as it was being installed, stressed and not fully concentrating as his son showed me how to use it before giving me a receipt saying that was the warranty!!!! After realising that the machine although looked new was actually a refurbished machine I rang numerous times and also texted Trev to ask him to call me back. This was on the 5th June 2023 still waiting for a callback from this PERSON TREV!! This is called ROBBERY!! looks like I'll have to go down the legal path to get my money back that this business falsely stole from myself unless the despicable man has any form of conscience!!!!!!!!!! After a week my partner rang for an update on the phone, she was told that it couldn't be fixed, yet previously he said it could. When my partner picked the phone up the owner conveniently took the receipt off her and passed the phone back saying no it can't be fixed, on top of this the phone had been damaged further (the screws were damaged, the battery cover didn't fit back on and an electronic contact had been snapped off rendering the phone useless also the volume key was missing. Me and my partner visited the shop on the 10th April (A.M) to resolve this issue and we were told that ' this phone was never taken to the shop ' and he didn't have a clue what we were on about. This trader has been reported to trading standards and they have given us instructions and advice on resolving this issue. I would just like to add we are a couple in our 40's and don't have a habit of trying to get people in trouble but this is a really disgusting and incompetent way to treat the paying public.

Whilst outside the 30 day right to refund and return stipulated under the 2015 Consumer Act this is well within the six month period in which it is the retailers responsibility, not the manufacturers, to either fix or replace the item. Gotchs failed to recognize this and told us we had to go to the manufacturer. This is very unhelpful and I'll-informed customer service. This really does need rectifying as Gotchs will lose customers.

Gotch's is a family run business that has built up a good reputation amongst the locals not only for its goods but also for it excellent sales and after sales service. The Interior is larger than you would think with a range of house hold appliances as well as ranges in TV's and music. In the past we have brought a freezer and a tumble dryer, and that's even after shopping around for prices. The prices are too similar to bother with the big companies and its nice to support a Selby business over the national stores.

My mum ordered a fireplace from Housing Units in November, and it quickly became clear that it was…read morefaulty. When she contacted Housing Units, they refused to take responsibility and told her she had to deal with the manufacturer herself - completely unacceptable since she purchased a fireplace from Housing Units and was paying them for a service. An online engineer for Evonics, gave her the ridiculous instruction of switching the rocker switch on and off 15 times, we thought he was joking. Obviously this didn't work so she had to wait some more. After two months of waiting, an engineer finally came out, only to confirm what we already know, the fireplace was faulty. She was instructed to go and start to order a replacement, which she did, only to be told it would take 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. However, I have speaking housing units today, she discovered that the replacement hadn't even been ordered! Now, she's been told it will take another five weeks, meaning she won't receive a fireplace until May - six months after purchasing it! They have told her she needs to dismantle the fireplace herself. To make matters worse, She does not have central heating, so housing units have left a pensioner without heating throughout the entire winter. My mum has been a loyal customer, and this treatment is disgraceful. I am absolutely shocked at the lack of care and responsibility shown by housing Units. The customer service team have not shown any care or understanding. Having to wait 6 months for a very expensive fireplace to be replaced is shocking. It so sad because she is such a loyal customer. From previous experience IKEA provide a much better service and do not expect their loyal customers to do their work for them.

Today I got scammed £750 from a company that I thought was trustworthy and reliable…read more 12 weeks ago I ordered the dining table pictured. I thought it was a steal of a deal because it was half price at £750 and it was using real oak. After 3 months of patiently waiting for my dining table, they delivered my package in one huge box, they never told me it was going to come in two boxes, this was never communicated by email and the delivery driver didn't say anything either. The delivery driver said to sign a form to confirm delivery and left in a hurry. They never explained that there were meant to be in two boxes. I thought it was going to be in one. Later that evening I opened the box and discovered the legs were missing, I thought "not to worry, I'm sure if I email them they'll send me my dining table legs ASAP". To my surprise and utter dismay, the customer service team emailed me back (picture of the email attached) saying because I signed the form, they cannot send me over the legs or give me a refund. I rang them after pleading to send the legs or provide a refund and they refused. I had two witnesses with me that can state only one box was delivered and not two. Also Housing units can't even send me pictures of proof saying that the two boxes were delivered. They're simply taking the word of mouth over the driver's over mine and refuse to send me my legs or give me a refund. I am completely and utterly heartbroken that I've lost £750, all I have is a plank of wood to show for it. I can say hand on heart this is the most despicable company that I've ever come across. I would say avoid at all costs unless you want to get scammed like I have.
