It feels very much like this store takes its cue from Benefit and other young and fresh brands as there are a few products, like the rouge tint, that bear more than a passing resemblance. The foundations are about the same price as Clinique's, just so you have a reference, but the lip glosses and rouges are a little cheaper than average. If you're a beauty buff I defy you to leave here without as much as an eye pencil.

I was asking if it was possible to switch out the blush I just bought and she proceeded to talk down to me and repeated that she didn't understand what I meant. I was kind of stunned with how rude she was, I've worked in customer service my whole life so I understand having a bad day and dealing with crappy customers, but oh my god I've never had anyone speak to me like this... if the manager is reading this I'd seriously reconsider how you treat your customers and just people in general.

I'm a professional make up artist, and in the States, I've heard a lot of hype about this new…read morebrand, Inglot - specifically the buttery soft texture of the eyeshadows (making them extremely easy to blend), high pigmentation (so the colors stay true and a little goes a long way) and excellent value. My kit is made up of brands like Makeup Forever, MAC - so much MAC - Nars, OCC, etc, so I'm not easy to impress. First off, i've been to this store 3 times and got vastly different service each time. The last time was the day before Christmas Eve, and a small, dark haired girl helped me and she was the right combination of informative and friendly without being pushy. The store itself might be a tiny bit confusing to start with, since the eyeshadows are sold in small round pans or larger square pans to put in various different sizes of palette. I've bought 2 palettes with 10 square pans in each, and they're outstanding value. 1 shadow would be £5, or 5 for £25 or 10 for £35. At MAC, that would buy me just a handful of shadows, even with my pro discount. For the record, I wouldn't buy mascara here, but I don't buy MAC mascara either - it's just not something either brand does well. I did buy an under eye concealer here that was comparable to Lancome's waterproof concealer, but I have to say that I think eye shadows are what they do best. :) Beauty junkies should be able find a color they love here, no problem!

This is a cosmetic store with all kinds of lipsticks, eye shadows and glosses. I am a MAC addict, so I definitely won't be purchasing my mascara from here (even though it's cheap, like £9), but I am interested in sprucing up my eye hair. I will come back and get some purple £8 eyelashes from here very soon as, since I don't have a tree in my lounge, I need people to start placing Christmas presents in my eye sockets so I have something to open on Jesus' birthday.

Sam has been fantastic on my trial and wedding day! I am not…read morean expert in make up and was hoping that whoever comes to my home will help me and give suggestions what would work best for me and on the day. And thankfully I made the right choice with Sam, she was lovely. She did not overpower me with make up knowledge but enough to give me more of an idea what can be done and make me look beautiful. The trial filled me with confidence. On the day itself, she was right on time and put me at ease. She made hair & make up for myself, my sister and mum and all right in time. She really thought it all through with the timing as well. On the wedding day I still had to do a bus ride playlist (which I forgot about) and whilst doing my hair she helped me with this as well. I had a brilliant playlist after all. My make up lasted all day & night and my hair was still in place with my hairpiece. Fantastic work! On top she gave me a new lip gloss & liner she used on me, so I could use it throughout the day. Thank you! I would always recommend Sam, without hesitation.

I messaged her with a date and she said if I could pop a £95 deposit in to her account she will hold the date and then we'll talk trials. She said she had problems with her emails. It was 2 weeks before I heard from her again and I was growing cautious. We finally booked a trial for a month before the wedding but I was hoping to do it sooner as I had a feeling even then that she wasn't too reliable, but I'd already paid my £95 deposit. I text Sam and asked if there's any chance she's free on the following Monday. She said yes and suggested 10am. By 10:15am Monday morning, after calling and texting with no reply, I finally receive a text from Sam saying she's busy, she doesn't remember agreeing to that time (I have a text from her, in her own words, suggesting 10am on Monday). I asked for a refund as I no longer trusted her, who's to say she wouldn't do this on my wedding day? She agreed to refund me. It's been almost 4 weeks and I still haven't been refunded. I text her a few times a week. She texts back all the time, always with a different excuse: her accountant manages the refunds. She's been away. She says "it'll be with you this weekend" and "it'll be in your account by midnight" but, of course, it never is. I still don't have the £95 she owes me for not showing up to my trial. I'm still suspicious she's a con artist and doesn't actually know a thing about hair and make up. The alternative is she's an extremely unprofessional woman who has no idea how to run a business. Either way, I would hate for other brides-to-be to be let down as I have and I hope she never has the chance to rip anyone else off, avoid at all costs!!
