A very bad experience with OVH VPS…read more I signed up for OVH SSD, their $3.35/mo linux VPS package. Two of them. I had used OVH previously and found them to be under powered, over priced, and not worth the experience. I had to go somewhere quickly, and hoped I had misremembered my experience with them. Their hard drives are not SSDs, not from this decade anyway. Their More than 2.0 GHz processor promises are equally disappointing. But more so, their return policy is non-existent. I used their new service for less than one week from sign up. Found it to be a misadvertised disappointment at every turn. And ended up transferring to a new service within 2 days. Two days I lost due to OVHs out of date and baffling wikis that are neither accurate nor relevant to their topics. And had to file a fraud report with PayPal, and the BBB, due to their deceptive practices, impossible to use interface, and VPS service that is eclipsed by absolutely everybody. Don't be fooled by the low price! Take a minute and shop around, there are 1000s of low priced VPSs out there that are far more worth the price. I found one that is more powerful, bigger, and cheaper, and they have non-stop live chat support, in the first 20 searches i did. Don't settle for OVH.

This company has really basic service. They claim to have…read moreoffers of 1 hour repair of server etc etc. But when they carry out these repairs, they are only concerned if the server can be pinged. They will wipe your data than prefer to rebuild your raid. So when taking out a server remember you will need an almost constant and active backup solution and you should be in a situation where you require no support what so ever.
