History

Established in 2009.

I am originally from Chile but like many people living in Barcelona I have lived in different countries throughout my life. I lived in England for 30 years and this is where I trained in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Once in Barcelona I founded the Barcelona Well Woman Center which it is a beautiful space with a variety of therapies from an international team of practitioners that want to help you and your family to have a healthy and happy life

Meet the Business Owner: Uby M.

I first encountered Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1979, I was living in Portugal and was asked to translate a book on Chinese diet. I have been hooked ever since! What I like most about Chinese medicine is that it is based in observation of the natural cycle of life and of common sense. There were not many books on the subject on those days in the West but I devoured every book that I could find. In 1985 I studied shiatsu and worked as a shiatsu practioner until 2000 when I received my Acupuncture license from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, one of the leading acupuncture colleges in the UK.
