I am frustrated that they did nothing to reach to me, they advised they texted me on Wednesday November 16th at 1:09pm. That is false information, I did not receive anything text or calls. (I am still waiting for proof) As well they did not have a post posted on their front at the time of drop off on Saturday November 19th at 8am. These owners are only in it for the money, they do not do anything to work with the customers except to be childish and unprofessional. They will lie through any circumstance just so they can be correct and to save their asses. I understand family emergency's happen but the fact they can't own up to their mistake of not reaching and going off on a customer that is frustrating, blows my mind on the way they reacted and presented themselves. If they were true business owners and cared about their customers, they would've apologized for the miscommunication. There is one female (don't know the name) that always sounds so annoyed when she picks up the phone...like the caller is inconveniencing her...and it made me not want to go back, but Dr Hitzeman was good so I did (mistake!) Second visit Dr Thomas Hitzeman was in surgery, so I got Dr Robert Hargarten. I have never had such an awful, uncompassionate, rude vet experience in all my life! I had a cat with me. Dr Robert Hargarten walked in with 2 big dogs...didn't say who he was or who these dogs were...didn't care if I am scared of dogs (I was attacked by a German shepherd so bad that it sent me to the ER after it tore up and scarred my arm for life)...doesn't care that my cat was now more terrified in that exam room...HOW RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I asked for another vet, but he was the only option. He then proceeded TO PULL MY CAT OUT OF THE CRATE BY HER TAIL! Who would do that??? He later grabbed her by the scruff on her neck and jabbed a needle into her. She fell back into the crate, was wobbly, and cowered from me for the first time. I asked what he gave her and he said it was just an antibiotic. I asked why she was acting wobbly and hurt, and he said it stings. I again pressed on that she was now acting really strange and he said the shot wouldn't do that. When I got home, my cat was wobbly, limping, and personality had changed. Well it is 3 days later and I STILL have a limping, hurt cat. I am so sad and angry at myself that I didn't do better homework before coming here. Brought my cat in friendly, sweet, purring, and walking fine, but came back out with a cat that is limping and shows s/s of pain. Please don't make the same mistake I did - go elsewhere!

And the Groomer employee first what happened with the employees is very despicable…read morejust to save the company a few dollars what had happened was I went to purchase a fish tank the accessories as well as the filtration and the fish there was a sale on by fish and fish tank 50% off as I was going to proceed on getting the fish. The employee mentioned I could not get the discount because they will not sell me the fish until the next day because they had to come and test the pH balance in the water before allowing any fish in my fish tank! I explained are you serious? They had no joke on their face and they were absolutely serious. I was a little upset, so yes, I agree that I argue with them for a good five minutes. I even showed up a Google picture explaining that was not true. This employee explained their company required this so I left the facility with only the fish tank and filter with accessories. When I arrived home, I put the water in with the filtration and tested the water to make sure it was all ready for fish. Everything passed the next day after searching for other information about the fish being in my water less than 24 hours which proved they were very incorrect. The ladies were still there and I still had animosity because I couldn't get my sale and they were very immature how they spoke to me. I'm not selling you. I'm at 100% perfect lady, but I know how to treat people with respect being that Chow Hound the only place in town I can get fish for my grandson for his birthday. I continue to get the fish, but I tell you one thing right now I will never! Ever! Purchase or spend one more dime at my cost at this Chow Hound company anywhere in the world and with the Grooming I was very unsatisfied. My dog was noticeably untouched with grooming, clippers her hair was still very damp, and her cause her nails were the exact same to be have gotten overcharged basically doubled what I pay now at this other groomers I should have never wasted my time going to Chow Hound's and I recommend nobody ever goes there unless employment changes hands. Groomers need to be up to par and at least know what they are doing before trying to over charge. I was so correct on this issue. I was called and set a free appointment to have him groomed for free, which still does not help. Pet owners beware. I will only write one star because there is no option for no stars.
