When I arrived at the salon, I was informed that Sinan was out and that they were attempting to contact me via an old phone number that I had on my account. They made it seem like they were aware he was going to be out days prior to my appointment. Totally my fault for not updating that phone number, but they also send confirmation via email and I was told by the front desk that they had my email but did not choose to contact me that way. I don't understand why they couldn't have reached out via email or even cancelled the appointment on their end which would have prompted me to call or reschedule. The guy at the front desk was super kind and was able to get me in between another stylist appointment, so I came back an hour later and then was informed that they wouldn't be able to accommodate me due to the other clients hair length being longer than expected. They then offered a different stylist who would only have 30 minutes to just cut my hair but no styling no washing and it would still be $75. I just ended up leaving, but this could have all been avoided if they had attempted to contact me via email or just cancelled the appointment on their end which also would have sent me an email. I booked this appointment almost a month in advance for a trip I am leaving to tomorrow and now I am out of a haircut. I had to pay for parking twice and waste gas thinking I was going to get my hair done. I would have left one star, but really appreciated the front desk staff attempting to get me in where he could, but again this all could have been avoided.
