I can confidently say that this was the best experience I've ever had at a barbershop. Johnny was my barber and he's a class act from beginning to end. Professional, friendly, and a good listener, he took a single look at what I was going for on my phone and recreated it perfectly without a second glance. He was also kind enough to let me test out a new styling product that I'm planning to purchase in the future. With the service-portion out of the way, I'd like to point out the other coolest thing about this shop- complimentary beer (draft system), leather chairs while you wait for/after your appointment, tv and video games for all of your entertainment pleasure, not to mention the enriching conversation offered of my Johnny and his apprentice, Max. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Kerri but I'm sure I will in the future. Bottom line is, I really loved this pleasure. There's simply no where like it in the greater Pittsburgh area. Avoid with kids! Rude AF, over priced and untrained barbers for kids. They definitely learned on the job and still learning. Some of the barbers clearly hate kids, which is understandable considering the place reeks of marijuana and beer. The actually told me it be better if I bring my kids "after hours" so they don't have to hear them. And by the way, I paid $101 for 1 crappy mans cut and two toddler cuts that probably took 45 minutes total with clippers only. Terrible. read more

I went here for a haircut and beard trim/shaping up. I couldn't be more satisfied. The barber who worked on me, Kerri was so very patient, friendly, and downright skilled. I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks. Nothing more relaxing than a good haircut, and beard trim, complete with the hot towel treatment. You'll feel so relaxed you'll want to take a nap. Went here without much hope after bouncing around from one poor barber shop to another. Found a good one finally at college while I was away but when I came back home to the Washington area I was in the same boat that I had been in for about two years. To my surprise Ed utterly exceeded my expectations and with one haircut gained a regular. I will be back and would recommend to any and everybody. Great shop for the price. You feel at home and oddly enough it's kind of fun there. Which I have never said about a barber shop previously. Booking online is easy, just pick your services, barber, date, and time. You get a confirmation email with a calendar request, as well as a reminder email. They stay pretty busy, so plan a little in advance. It's never a bad thing to have a barber that's in demand, though. read more
