Please save yourself the stress and money you'll go through working with this business…read more Communication was iffy but progressively got worse and worse as our big day came along. Morning of our wedding , I had to practically beg her to bring ice for the cooler so the beers would be cold. After that text, there was no communication between me and the owner until 5:10 pm. We set a time earlier in the week that she was to arrive at 4:30 & be ready to serve at 5:30. It was 5:10 when I , the bride, see there is no bartender there. I call her 4 times & other family members are calling her also. NO response & directed to voicemail. Finally she text with no sorry tone , "pulling in 2 minutes! Sorry!". When they finally arrived at the venue , which turned out to be right at 5:30 when the cocktail hour starts, they walked right past my family without saying anything. No apologies or anything. My mother went up to one of the bartenders named Ariel very very politely just trying to figure out if there was a miscommunication on time or what. Ariel responded to my mother by saying "well we were told 5:30" & "well i'm here now so you'll get your drinks". There was absolutely no need for the disrespect when you are the one showing up late to our reception. We have text proof that they were to arrive at 4:30 to set up. Night went on better than the start which is good but still they were very very rude bartenders. The next day, I reach out to the owner. I texted her stating that we were extremely upset & that what the bartender said to my mother was extremely uncalled for. The owner went on to say she got into an accident earlier in the day which doesn't make sense as to why the other two bartenders were an hour late or why we never got a warning that they were going to be late. She goes on to say "I'm very confused though because when Ariel called me last night she said the night went really well once set up and that she made $200 in tips". Why that was even brought up to argue is crazy to me. Our family is very generous because we've all worked in the food industry so yes we tip well. The guest who did tip had no idea how much of a crap show this was so it makes sense as to why they did tip lol. To add to this , the owner didn't know we paid in full yet even tho we venmoed her directly. She ended up giving us a $200 refund which is so nice of her after the stress she put all of us through. I do not recommend this business at all. Please save yourself the stress.

Once I graduated, I found a new career path, but because I love meeting and talking with new people, I continued to bartend on the weekend. On the Rocx's Bartending was a complete disaster for my wedding. I spoke with Beverly 4-5 times on…read morethe phone throughout my experience with her. Each time, the event details were confirmed (date, location, and time). The day of my wedding, my event planner asked "where are the bartenders, they were suppose to arrive 3-3:30 for serving of alcohol by 4:30pm. So I found my phone (which I did not have in my back pocket as it was my wedding day), and I had several missed calls and voicemails from Beverly. Her 1st voicemail around 2:30 stated the bartender was in route and everything was good to go. 1 hour later, she left 2 more voicemails basically saying there had been a huge mixup in time and that no one would arrive until 5:30pm. I thought that couldn't be the worst outcome, guests wont even notice. 5:30pm rolls around, 6pm, 6:30pm. No one has shown up. This is in the middle of cocktail hour and my cousin and uncle had to get behind the bar and serve drinks to 140 people. At 7pm, two bartenders finally show up. My original booking was from 4:30pm-10:30pm and they left around 10pm. Not to mention, I stressed the importance of the beer and wine being cooled before being served to guests. Beverly understood this and assured my the bartenders were arriving early and with enough ice/cooler space for the drinks to be cold. By some miracle, my dad decided to bring his own coolers, and have every single beer and wine bottle cold hours before the wedding started. Had I relied on this vendor, the beer and wine would've been hot and not servable. I am never the one to go out of my way to leave reviews, but I decided this was unacceptable on every measure of professionalism. A partial refund was given for the catostrophic mistake. I would never recommend this vendor for any occasion.
