Stepping into a hardcopy of an American diner we soon realized that this place is really informal. The staff seems to be a group of friends that brought the American cuisine home to Italy from a road trip in the States. They are wearing T-shirts and the place is full of American flags and hard maple furniture. When you look through the menu it becomes clear that they want to keep a little of the Italian kitchen alongside the American. We got some smoked ham and bread as a starter. Southern European taste, which was fine. We then moved on to the main course where we had a double burger and penne gorgonzola respectively.
If I were to only review the burger it would get 2 stars. The bread seemed to be the cheapest you would get in any supermarket. The beefs were tasteless and not completely done. The good thing was that you got full but it cost €12.
The penne dish was as you'd expect but the cheese was maybe too strong for a Dane (-) and there was not much meat.
It was also a bit disappointing that they didn't have any American beers but rather Danish, Belgian and German.
The place is suitable for families with a big playground outside. Groups of friends but maybe not for a date.
Three stars for getting full, friendly staff and low price read more
