I'm a returning guest to this breathtaking hotel at the shores of Lake Uri for the last 25 years…read more Neither the hotel's website, promoting "relaxing" travel packages nor their booking confirmations provide the slightest information or caution that there is major construction going on along the complete length of the hotel lake front. The noise pollution during the work week, starting at 7:30AM (!!!) until 4PM, is deafening and makes a stay at this hotel a total disaster! Where's the courtesy and responsibility of the hotel management to provide cautionary information to guests from abroad about this nuisance? I am extremely disappointed in how this situation is being handled by this otherwise reputable hotel! Dec. 23, 2015 Management of the hotel has taken my suggestion into consideration and posted a cautionary note about the noise situation on the reception desk as well as provided respective notes on their website. Thank you Ms. Hoffmann, this has restored my belief in Swiss quality!
