Very good. Did some research, then we got several positive reviews. My Spanish is passable, but…read morethis seems more like a local place. I had a tough time communicating. The bartender almost didn't want anything to do with me, but several of his cohorts helped out. Very good selection of entrees as well as tapas. No sangria either. We would go back, but I'll get better prepared when do. Ambiance is fine; outside of inside. No tapas outside.

I love anchovies so I had their small appetizer for one and it was spot on. I also had a fish in salsa- sooo good. We finished off with their cheesecake which is not like American cheesecake. More mild with a different texture and also good but their strawberry ice cream which was more like a gelato and their side of fresh whipped cream stole the show. Their cafe con leche was also one of the best I have had on our 2 week long trip. On top of that the restaurant has so much character- get there early to snag a seat inside. I highly recommend this place.

Half of the menu offers a good amount of mexican dishes, something that is lacking in this part of Spain. I don't eat mexican food often, so i wont be the best judge if it is good or not. Our table shared quesadillas, chimichangas, flautas, little chorizos and some grilled squid. Overall, the food was good (in my opinion) and when I asked my friend who loves mexican food how it tasted, he said, for Spain standards, it's pretty good. I'm not sure what that meant? Prices and portions match each other. The staff here are very nice. Location is nice, along the riverfront of Puerto. There is a carpark steps away from this place at a very cheap price. I think we paid less than €1 for 2 hours. I probably won't come again here on my own, but if it was a group outing, i would not be opposed to joining.
I'm going to give this one a **** though I would not return on my own. Not because of anything I…read moredidn't particularly care for; it was just a meh experience for me. The other seven people at our table loved it though and I suppose that has to count for something, right? First off, location. This is a really neat place to be in Puerto -- kind of like a warehouse district, it's located on a walking-only street and surrounded by lots of neat vendor stalls. This provided something to do after dinner and we have a great time checking out the different wares. Additionally, we had one of the gypsy tours stop right in front of our table -- that was a hoot! Second off, sangria. Didn't like it and switched to wine. Third off, menu. There is some real variety here -- I'd say my favorite was the chicken flauta. We ate all around the menu .. lots to try; kids loved the quesidillas. Lastly: the check. $120E for eight people, including alcohol -- not complaining one bit. In conclusion: I wouldn't go out of my way to return, but I wouldn't avoid friends if they asked us to dine with them here again =) EDIT: forgot to mention the service, which was very friendly!
Pretty and tasty!
