It's a very small bar, but one of my favorite stops in Trieste. Located in Piazza San Giovanni, it is very close to Piazza Goldoni, a main hub for buses and it's in downtown so easy to walk to from wherever you are in the city.
They also have a window you can order wine at (yeah, think Little Havana in Miami, only here you order very good wine instead of empanadas) and some tables outside where you can sit, sip your wine and do a little people watching.
Nice place to chill after a long walk in the city; they have very good wines, price are reasonable and they always give you a little complementary food with your glass, a couple of slices of salami or prosciutto or whatever they have.
Sometimes when I am back in Trieste, I sit there, outside, enjoy 2 glasses of wine and let memories of my many years spent in my hometown occupy my mind. read more
