On March 7th 2025 approximately 1pm. My wife and I entered the facility. The young waitress with shorts on came over and gave us water within 10 minutes of waiting. After that we never seen her again we waited until 1:30 p.m. before we left. The service was terrible from the young lady that was wearing shorts on this day. I don't think anyone should wait 25 to 30 minutes to order. The thing about it the weight is never came back after this amount of time. I will never go back again. 30 minutes after receiving water no order was taken. Not cool for a first-time customer. If you have hours to wait for your food go ahead have fun. Patio was more humble when I went, it's moved up in the world, upgraded the interior and patio, nicely done. It was a good spot for a cold beer, they even kept it in a koozie at my table even. Nice patio but pay attention to the bill! met a friend here for a few chopes on a layover in Sao Paulo. Bar Brahma has a nice patio that has around 20-25 tables outside. It's a standard Brazilian patio where drinks in bar food are served in a lively environment. On the inside, it looks like it has been renovated because it has a nicely restored retro feel to it. Service is good -almost too good - so pay attention if they bring you more beers. Which brings me to my recommendation on Bar Brahma: Check the bill scrupulously. On several of our bills, we found inflated prices, items that we never ordered, and cover charges which were never mentioned. If you go with a local, I'm sure it will be a good time...and it's lively for gringos too, just checking out is a hassle. read more

Great place. Live music on a Saturday evening. R27 for entry to sit inside, or R20 if you sit outside (the band plays inside). Very festive, people dancing, eating, and enjoying themselves. The neighborhood is a little rough and tumble so uber in and out but the folks here are the moneyed set - bottles of premium whiskey on their tables. Ordered the Frango Bollentine, very tasty! Can't get much Brazilian than this place . On the corner of Ipiranga with Sao Joao on the heart of São Paulo. They will never let your glass of beer empty, the waiter staff is very attentive . The food is good but the vibe and energy is what makes you want to stay forever . It's a very happy place . Wow! Now this is Brazil! The hotel made a reservation for me in the samba room. They have multiple rooms with their own entertainment. As the night goes on, the samba stays hot. People take a break from eating or drinking and randomly are dancing in the aisles, singing along to what i am convinced is the world's happiest music. I couldn't read the menu nor get someone that speaks English so pointed to the specials section and shrugged. The waiter picked out a great carni dish that was pricey but of monster portion lasting me over an hour as i enjoyed the music and watching the people around me. 5 stars for the total experience! read more
