Sometimes, however, they forget to deliver quality food. As a frequent goer, had to return my food several times because they're too hard, odd taste - as they've been prepared for a long time. Place can be too busy and VERY noisy, especially on Fridays. Definitely not a place to talk with the your friends.

We did decide to go to this one in São Paulo last night ironically, yes, but more importantly because they were showing the first game of the NFL season. The staff working at the bar was great. They got us our drinks quickly, the mugs were frosted and kept the beers cold. As soon as we moved to our table, the honeymoon was over. It took an absurd amount of time for them to replace our round of beers, and the quesadillas we requested without chicken came with chicken. When it came time to pay the check, we also found ourselves waiting an absurd amount of time. Luckily we just subscribed to the NFL ticket, so now we can watch games at home as opposed to having to ever go to Applebee's ever again! Also - the one thing that makes Applebee's interesting is they are part of the neighborhood. When I go to the local one near my family in NJ, the walls are covered with local sports team paraphernalia, old photos of the town, etc. This Applebee's had bare walls. It's in Brasil! I imagine there is some really awesome stuff they could be putting up there! Might make it more interesting.

Ordering drinks is a cinch - just walk up to the indoor/outdoor bar and place your Negroni or chopp order. Hungry? Everyone around me was ordering garlic seasoned chicken hearts (and loving them). For the less adventurous, there's a number of other fried and non-fried snacks. I enjoyed the calamari and pastels. Another cool perk is this place is dog friendly. As long as you snag a table by the railing, your pup is welcome to join you for a meal and a drink. This is a great spot for happy hour and an easy place to meet people on a Friday after work.

All kind of defeating the purpose of a craft brew pub in my opinion. Also the staff don't really have any personality especially the bartenders. They serve and disappear like robots. Aren't brewpubs supposed to be fun and outgoing? I didn't eat only drank. The menu is basically your typical bar food... Nothing really inspiring... Burgers, hot dogs, coxinha, etc. I gave 2 stars because the atmosphere is really cool and the beer was just alright. 2.5 is probably more accurate. However, I'm probably not going to come back and I would not recommend it.

In the US there are many micro brews but here there are only four in the entire city. I tried the Weiss Beer and the Red Ale. Both are fantastic. Both are well balanced with just the right amount of bitter units for the type of beer. The wheat beer rivals Paulaner Weiss micro brew in NYC. The Red Ale is in the English style and is s better version of Old Speckled Hen. Great beer is only part of the story. The owner is very engaging and speaks some English. Show some interest in how beer is made and he will have you smelling New Zealand hops and explaining how temperature at fermentation impacts his beers.
