A lot of it are homemade and you just see and taste the difference. If you take an appetizer, take a soup, it is homemade and just excellent!!! Service: The service was very friendly and professional with a good tempo. Ambience: They renovated everything around 3 years ago and it looks very clean and beautiful. It is a good place to go out eat in a fine restaurant for very reasonable prices. For lunch you can get a soup, salad, pizza and a dessert for only around CHF 16.00 total, which is amazing! Service: The restaurant is run by a family. We ordered, and shared, the ceviche, tomato bisque, and green curry soup too. Everything was absolutely delicious. My 17 year old wanted to take the chef with us. If…read moreyou fly into Basel airport you take bus 50 all the way to the last stop (15 minutes) and it parks practically in front of the hotel. They were very accommodating and even provided us free use of a transformer so we could charge our 240V phones. Water bottle in the room and free espresso machine on each floor. They also provide free trolley passes and wi fi. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and speaks proficient English.
