I took my cards and went to iCue in Lonsdale street. I pre-paid each hour at iCue. Had a great time there and would recommend iCue over this dump. Don't waste your time with this place. It's obvious they don't want customers. When you treat your customers like criminals they will go somewhere else.

AK8 is the best pool&snooker club in central. There's no question about that. Tables are all fast and well kept clean, and balls are all amongst the best-aramith crystal balls. The prices are a little bit high:15$ for eight ball and 25$ for snooker. But if you are a billiard pro who's just been to Melbourne looking for nice spot for practice in central you really won't want to miss there. And they sometimes hold competitions as well. Besides, they have a bar and a couple of darts (though not in their best conditions)

The alcohol is cheap here, very cheap. There's big plaque letters out the font that say "Our members enjoy the cheapest & best drinks in Melbourne". Now not too sure about the 'Best' part but cheap is definitely on the cards here. Fan of the 'Tab', then this place is for you having one attached as well. Now, it wasn't really my scene as there was no real atmosphere or ambiance so it felt like i was meeting my shady uncle Frank in a dimly lit corner for a godfather like talk.

Despite the fact that I have been living in Epping for a few years now I never realised that this…read moreplace existed. Then again, it isn't all that obvious, not being on a main road and all that. However, this seems to be a place for me to go if I want some craft beers, and it also has a pretty large outdoor area. However, I suspect that it is more a night club than a bar, since it is only open on weekends, and at night. Still, it is pretty cool, and I probably should go back sometime (though it is a little dark).
