This company is VERY unprofessional. They have walked MANY employees out including the executive…read moredirector, the clinical director, etc. Their reputation is horrendous for lack of empathy. Prior to Covid, they exceed great exceptions. Their motto, "Expect more because we do " is lie. They are more concerned about numbers instead of the quality of the care of their patients. The case managers don't ensure that the patients needs are met. For example, they didn't check to see if patients have enough medication to last for the weekend. They will allow the family members and the patients to run. Getting in contact with an Doctor to refilled an prescription is liking pulling teeth. They send the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. The weekend staff does the bare minimum. They will call to see what you need instead of laying eyes on the patients. I believe that's an pathetic attitude and pure laziness. My interaction with these employees are as follow. The manager, Trisha Ward is an jackleg manager. She's has offensive approach towards her employees and patient. The CNA'S are wonderful. Ruby, Ashley, Sharita, Mary, Earnest, Natasha, and Theresa are phenomenal. Julie G and Patrice are EXCELLENT nurses. They go above and beyond. Shawanna, Mary Beth and Linda are superiority. I wouldn't recommend Crossroad Hospice NEVER.

I ended up just hanging up because we went with another service and my Mom not doing so well and I am glad I did not wait on Crossroads to respond. Just worthless. Glad it wasn't an emergency or was it ? My Mom is dying and they do not return phone calls for service.

This review is based on service for May-July 2020…read more When my dad went on hospice we knew nothing  about the signs of dying, what to expect at the end of life, or which stage of dying he was in, WE WERE ON OUR OWN! Spring Valley came to our home, dropped off comfort meds and did not explain to us how to give the meds, when to give them, how to give, nor did we know we were suppose to give them every couple hours. We found out later that we were suppose to drop them on the mouth for them to dissolve and weren't suppose to be swallowed. We were basically on our own, no support whatsoever! Sure we had a nurse that showed up once a week  but she was in and out and had no time to explain to us what my Dad was going through -maybe she didn't not know herself? I don't know- nor did she ever ask how he was doing or if was still eating? drinking? How much?, ect, ect...--- Our answer to our questions were never answered!  She just looked at us as if she didn't know the answers to the questions. I Transfered my Dad to another hospice agency after several painful weeks he had went through and they were no help! He was in so much pain and the hospice agency didn't help at all! We had a lot of bad nights and when we called in, a nurse in a different state would be the one to walk us through a crisis.  When we had an episode no one came to our home to help get my Dad comfortable as he suffered. We had no support! The nurse only comes once a week and they do not send anyone to see the patient if it's a crisis! As I stated earlier we transferred my Dad to another Hospice Agency  and they were right there with us until the end. They were Angels! My Dad only had 2 weeks left to live when we transferred him to the new hospice and the Nurse was at our house everyday and the CNA was there everyday to bathe him.. They were great to us! They made sure he was comfortable and he was no longer in pain.. so glad we found another Hospice and had him transferred from Spring Valley! I give them a ZERO!

Per Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville, my intake/symptom forms from 2014 to 2017 were "shredded" by you or your office within Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville's 3 year policy and conveniently when I was most ill. I requested my records when you changed practices in 2017. Former, current and future patients, I implore you to: 1. TAKE NOTES OF YOUR VISITS. 2. TAKE PICTURES of EVERY FORM YOU SIGN OR COMPLETE, INCLUDING YOUR PATIENT INTAKE/SYMPTOM FORM. ***This intake/symptom form, one form, is your only voice - you the patient. My voice was erased.*** 3. TAKE PICTURES OF ANY HANDWRITTEN INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO YOUR DOCTOR. I did provide handwritten information on a single notecard for each visit. These notecards were also not included in my medical record in any form from 2014 to 2017. Why not give these notecards back to me? 4. If you are unable to write or have memory issues, RECORD YOUR VISITS for your own recollection of what was discussed and what you need to do. 5. REQUEST a copy of your MEDICAL RECORDS. 6. Request a Complete Thyroid Panel. Request your lab results. Do your own research. Thyroid disease affects 1 in 8 women. I still cannot get all of my records while under your care requested August 2017. Where are MY records? YOU MUST BE VIGILANT ABOUT YOUR OWN HEALTH CARE. YOU ARE YOUR BEST ADVOCATE.
