If I ever need to open a bank account here in AR, there is nowhere else I would ever consider going. She then was very hostile in the way she talked to me and was explaining the concept of the item fee, when all I wanted to know was what was the transaction that caused the item fee. She seemed like she was having an argument with me when all I asked was a simple question. When I Tried to correct her in terms of what I was asking she ignored me and continued her hostile explanation of a paid item fee. When I was able to finally ask her what was the transaction that caused the fee she then told me that she is unable to tell me what the transaction was and that it was something that I did. as if she was trying to shift the blame onto me for whatever my problem was. Which I Already knew was my problem, I was just wanting to gather information so that I could fix my problem. All in all I was Unable to get information on what was coming out of my account and unable to get information on the amount that was coming out of my account so that I Could Avoid more paid item fees. My Ratings of the bank. Customer Support 1/10 - Very Very bad Information 1/10 unable to provide simple information to account holders. Armstrong Bank tellers always turn and walk away to process even something as simple as a deposit…read more It takes a long time while you wait for them to leave the room and then come back. I have never seen any other bank do that. Also, their security is not good. Once when my account was compromised, they made me wait 10 days and did an "investigation" before returning my money even though my account number was used out of state and I physically had my card and did not put any travel notes on my account. Their security people never texted me to see if it was legit, either. Overall, this bank is okay for a secondary account. I like that they have a Mastercard logo instead of Visa, just for a change. They are definitely not as good as First National Bank of Fort Smith. Also, they closed most of their branches in Fort Smith and opened one "big" branch on Rogers Avenue which is really awkward to access. They have two kiosk tube areas to send your deposit through, one right in front of the other, so if the person in front of you takes 20 minutes to complete your transaction, you are trapped in line!!
