I just recently had a transaction on my debit card declined and discovered that the card was also frozen. I visited the stonewood village branch to inquire as to why. A very nice woman promptly printed out a hard copy showing the related transactions for me to keep. She said that this transaction was for medical marijuana and then suggested that I would not be conducting such an activity. When I told her that it was indeed me and I tanked her repeatedly for prompt service. Due to catastrophic work injury, I take medical marijuana for intense, chronic pain. It is my best solution for my situation and have every intention of continuing it use so I called my PERSONAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE @1st NATIONAL BANK just to make sure that future transactions would be honored by 1st NATIONAL BANK FORT SMITH. I was rudely told that my complaint was unfounded because the woman at the 1st NATIONAL BANK FORT SMITH would have no way of knowing any detail of the declined transactions. Instead of cooperating, the bank deliberately caused a delinquency in her account by returning payments she was making and the stating she was in arrears and filed a foreclosure action. The bank has run up in excess of $20,000 in bank fees, and attorney fees and refuses to give her a payoff. She has tendered all monthly payments, tendered a payment for all of the principal, and has requested at least 6 times an explanation as to whet Regions is attempting to do. No explanation has been offered. It is like she is dealing with a mafia owned bank, or a bank beholding to a mafia boss. Get your money out of this bank and run for the hills.

Armstrong Bank tellers always turn and walk away to process even something as simple as a deposit…read more It takes a long time while you wait for them to leave the room and then come back. I have never seen any other bank do that. Also, their security is not good. Once when my account was compromised, they made me wait 10 days and did an "investigation" before returning my money even though my account number was used out of state and I physically had my card and did not put any travel notes on my account. Their security people never texted me to see if it was legit, either. Overall, this bank is okay for a secondary account. I like that they have a Mastercard logo instead of Visa, just for a change. They are definitely not as good as First National Bank of Fort Smith. Also, they closed most of their branches in Fort Smith and opened one "big" branch on Rogers Avenue which is really awkward to access. They have two kiosk tube areas to send your deposit through, one right in front of the other, so if the person in front of you takes 20 minutes to complete your transaction, you are trapped in line!!
