I went above her head to management and told them how rude she was and that it was unprofessional. The next day I went and deposited that two party check and when she found out she got smart. So I called and turned her into the branch manager. I received my bank card in the mail and it wouldn't work so I went to the bank and she had started the paper work on closing my account without speaking to me. She told me my account looked suspicious cause I had signed over 1 two party check and that I made her mad for going above her head on that matter. If you are looking for a bank please do NOT go to this bank! I've had issues with them since day 1!

We knew something wasn't right with the first bank's appraisal and at the recommendation of our realtor, tried again with another bank. Our contact at the Bank of Dickson responded very quickly to our questions, gave us a fair appraisal, and expedited the whole process so we could still close in time. They allowed us to pick the most convenient location for the closing, the closer was very nice and organized and we were done very quickly. My husband and I are so glad that we decided to take our business to the Bank of Dickson rather than simply walk away from our new home. Now that we live in the country and need a new local bank for checking and savings, we plan to pay them another visit.

It was very difficult to ever reach our contact at the bank, the appraiser they sent was terrible, and the whole process seemed to drag on forever because of their lack of drive. Also, the interest rate was high. We explained that our credit was excellent and they told us that our credit doesn't matter because they only offer one rate to anyone who qualifies. What? These factors added up and caused us to almost lose out on our house. We ended up contacting another local bank to see if they would appraise the home any higher, and they did. They offered us a lower rate with better terms and they are speeding up the closing process to within a week and a half of our application date! I recommend shopping around for your mortgage before settling here.
