Seamless experience as far as I'm concerned. They cashed my OOS check without question. I was in and out in a flash. I am from LA and my bank (a local credit union) is not in these parts of the country, so I was screwed. I went to open another bank account, but I needed the money now and not in 7 days when the check cleared my new checking account. What a relief I found this place! And, they're open late (Til midnight). This place is clutch.

I can go buy snacks from a city gas station 3-6 hours from my home address without a flag, but cannot go down the street from my house to purchase a firearm without a full decline. So much for ammendment rights. But someone could run off with it in providence RI and buy an entire gas station. Here in NYC I made a booking with the card, went to the hotel with the card that was already charged up front partially by the booking and it gets flagged. After waiting an hour on the phone I get to go through the account verification twice that's also in ear shot of everyone so that's secure, only to discover there is A daily 15 transaction limit on any purchase you do is which is ridiculous, especially when hopping from train to train. Their staff tho kind are super limited. what's funny is as a plumber I'm expected to be on call in an emergency 24/7. st Mary's claims this but when I needed to get home via the train my account got flagged on a Saturday and no one could answer their automated emergency phone system. I kept getting redirected in circles. I will gladly be ending my account with this bank. They can charge $30 for over spending but can't get me home with my own money

I was in there yesterday to cash a check and was made to feel like I was trying to steal my own money. Then the "manager" who was "trying to help me" tried to juice me 20% for a fee. All to then try and "verify" the check, misunderstand the people at my 401k company, and then try to tell me that I was REQUIRED to deposit my check in to my bank account directly (which I do not have, which is why I was using a check cashing place to begin with). This was incorrect information and had I not checked again myself w/ a person at the company, I would have been in a situation. Not only this, but they wanted to "look through my phone, so they could look at my banking app" again, I explained I do not have a bank account with a conventional bank. There is mitigating risk and then there is downright shady business. This place is a real crap place and they could care less about "helping you". Terrible customer service and honestly discriminatory. I have already put in a report to the BBB. I'm sure it will make no difference, because desperate people who can't get anywhere else are stuck using shi**hole&&s like this where rudeness is tolerated.

She took a picture of the check, called her supervisor, asked for the envelope, I provided the envelope. Once again took pictures. Gave her my ID and passport. She said everything was fine. Then she looks on the back (I signed the check in the car) she says "our new policy, we don't cash checks that are not signed in front of us" I never heard of anything like that. So yeah, that is what I had to deal with. They were also very rude.
