Yum Yum Yum!!! This is a cute little suburban restaurant but it's cuisine is definitely not suburban. Came here on recommendation of a friend - their daughter adores the vegetarian cuisine. It was a table of 4 and easily accommodated, it was Thursday and we had a booking. Service was efficient and prompt - not much waiting. We bought our own wine, and no issue with glasses or corkage. Entree and mains were shared and quickly disappeared ( so not many photos) - the vegetarian dishes were divine, it was all excellent. You come here for the food and it is worth it. read more

We came back to this restaurant to find that they had moved next door so the restaurant is a little bigger. It's still very noisy and busy and you have to wait a while for your food to arrive if you go on a Friday or Saturday night - but when it does come, the food is magnificent. We loved our traditional Afghani tikka kababs (made with succulent lamb backstrap pieces), sabzi (spinach) and the mantu (beef dumplings) are always our favourite. It's really reasonably priced too and BYO is a plus. read more

The kebab meats are out of this world. The lamb, especially is to die for. The staff are also very friendly, and helpful.

This place nearly makes me want to move back to Brisvegas. The family live near by and tried it the night before, so good they were happy to try again. We got a bit excited and order quite a lot. Tikka Kabab & Chicken Kababs (marinated meat) rice and salad, really nice food. The Mantu ( beef dumplings) were so good. Tried the Perikee, bread with potato or mice and they were brilliant. Kofta Pallow currie was maybe the best of all. This place is worth a try and even worth a drive if you like this style of food. read more

The service was a dodgy but in a nice way. The food came out quickly and was fantastic. The beef dumplings were made of the thinnest delicate pastry, the egg plant was sublime and that naan bread was incredible! We will definitely eat there again - so many things yet to try on their menu. read more

We came for dinner on New Years Eve. The tables were all booked and throughout the meal there was a steady stream of takeaways leaving the kitchen. The food was great: the naan was fluffy and not too oily, the dal had no grittiness, the chutney just the right spiciness. We had chicken kebabs (for the kids) which came with a wedge of lemon; the lamb dumplings, with dal and yoghurt; a bowl of the dal; and the eggplant. Everything was delicious. The servings are definitely on the larger side -- you could easily share a curry (and the massive naan!) between two people. The service was average, not very attentive or helpful, but to be fair they were a bit overwhelmed. Once our order was taken, the food came quickly and we forgave the service from the first mouthful. Update: returned last night, and were not disappointed. We had the dal again, this time with chicken kebabs, and the eggplant (again). The service was fine this time (we were early) but you definitely need to book ahead -- all the tables were booked, with several larger parties. read more

The worst Afghani Pulao ever, rice has been put in to Lamb Curry. They are not an Authentic Afghan restaurant as per my experience. The cost of the meal is too high compare to the quantity. However the atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly though. read more
