Adding to my review - Hassna gave me the best haircut I've ever gotten! I went in there with such terrible dead ends and I told her "do whatever you gotta do"... now I feel so beautiful! And prices are very reasonable!! The salon is doing a great job keeping safe during covid. Love the owners, love the staff, love it here! In case this overrides my old review - I always get my nails done with Suzy... she does the best job (for me she does gel, powder gel, eyebrows and pedicures) and she is so wonderful. Got my hair done by Boris a few weeks ago and I am very impressed with the outcome. It was quite pricey but worth every penny. I have received a lot of compliments on my hair from both men and women. He honestly did a really good job on the balayage I requested. I had showed him a picture beforehand of what I wanted and he really made that happen (my hair was platinum blonde with black roots). Boris was very friendly, attentive and I was amazed at his incredible knowledge of hair and color. He got me in and out within 3.5 hours, which was considered pretty quick since most of the time, I'm usually at the salon for at least 6 hours. This review is specifically for Eileen. She's a new stylist at the salon and did such an amazing job with my balayage. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she followed it exactly. She painstakingly painted strands and paid attention to when my roots would grow out and did the balayage accordingly. She was passionate and enthusiastic and the end result was simply amazing. I've been shaving my own head since I was 16 so I am hesitant to let anyone touch my hair because most don't understand girls with mohawks but I caved & set up an appointment. Boris, Arsen & Marco made me feel very welcome & the end result was a style I didn't even know was possible with my hair. Arsen did a fantastic job & I left feeling confident & happy. But, they charge me $60 for that. Really? They didn't wash my hair or cut the side, just the back of my neck line. That's it. Then they took my picture without asking me. Now they will use it to advertise something they didn't do. Someone else cut my hair and style it and they will display someone else work on their website. Wrong. It's owned by 3 brothers who make your experience feel like home. Boris who is my hair stylist has been doing miracles on my hair. My hair was a mess and damaged ( bad work from another salon). Boris fixed my hair and got the color I have been looking for. He is the only person who got me to the icy blonde I wanted. Very disappointed with the owners here at BAM STYLE. I spent 200 dollars here to dye my hair lavender with already blonde hair. My stylist was great and was patient with my stubborn hair. But it wasnt the stylist i had a problem with its the establishment itself and the way they run their business. Long story short i spent a total of 10+hours which should have been a 3 hour process. Then tells me he is cutting me a deal because he will only charge me for 5 hours of the whole 10 our process. Youre not cutting me any deal but stealing my money. I came here for convenience because i work next door but not after he has the audacity of telling me they wont do my hair till im satisfied. I left with my hair bleached multiple times. Resulting in very damaged hair. They didnt offer me any treatment on their part for damaging it which other salons offer in good business. Btw i used blue shampoo. Tell me why i still paid 200, didnt get the results i wanted, and then my color faded in a week! One week! This is a sad excuse for a business. Bought the Groupon for gel mani and pedi so i usually dont expect much love. They were awesome over the phone booked me and my best friend at 9am on a Saturday so my expectations grew a bit. However. The GEL manicure and pedicure was so quick we were done by 40 minutes, my 1st suspicion. My friend didn't get any cuticle love when she got her gel mani and her pedicure looked awful. My tipping point was this morning when two of my nails literally peeled off. Its only Wednesday and I got this GEL manicure on Saturday the 18th and todays the 22nd... even bad gel manicures last for at least a week. So basically I got my nails done on Monday gel manicure spa pedicure. The service there was great the staff is very nice offer coffee. Unfortunately when I spend that much money on my nails I really hope that my nails will last the week , unfortunately my pedicure lasted hours as I had to return on Tuesday morning to have them fix them and my gel manicure lasted all of two days. I was leaving for Jamaica that Thursday morning and I got so fed up that I went to Walmart bought a similar color so that I could do my nails over by myself. I am super disappointed ... months later. I give this location 1 star b/c the staff is "nice" but the hairdresser that I worked with did not do what I asked. I initially came here to do a blowout when they first opened and I thought the salon was great. I recommended my best friend to visit to get her haircut and she was highly disappointed b/c the hairdresser cut her hair unevenly. I felt so embarrassed b/c she has long thick hair down to her hips. She had to tie it up for months to not show the unevenness and to let it grow back so she could cut it properly. Similarly, I took the chance b/c I wasn't as concerned. I had long hair up to my hips and I asked to cut some front layers LIGHTLY and not to cut off too much b/c I still want it LONG and I asked for NO POINT. My hair is up to my waist now ... what was supposed to be 1-2 inches, turned out to be EIGHT (8) inches off and ... I ended up with a point in the middle - a stringy LONG point in the middle of my back which I have been contemplating to cut off by myself. I absolutely hate this place. I had my hair cut around December 2019 and I am still so angry ... I am waiting for my hair to grow back and I need to get my hair evenly cut. I went to bamstyle the first time a little while ago and my hair cane out perfect! If you want someone to do your hair, then Nina is this girl!! But the makeup artist, doesn't listen. I had a trial for a wedding and I'd tell her what to do and what I liked, and didn't listen to me. I hated my makeup and I started crying because it was for a wedding. It's not my wedding but I want to look beautiful, but if a makeup artist isn't doing that for my i'm nit going to be happy. I liked everyone except the lady who washed my hair. She couldn't be bothered to listen to me when I had a small request (flat out ignored me), caused me pain, made rude comments, and then continued on to say very rudely, "I don't know who's doing your hair" and walking away leaving me to wander around the salon with a wet head of hair. That experience threw me off and I was second guessing my decision to walk in. I was saved by meeting a hairdresser who was very kind and very professional. I chatted with the owners as well all of whom were very friendly and helpful. Great for special occasions or a rare splurge, otherwise the costs do add up. This was the most expensive haircut & (partial) highlighting/toner job I have been incurred, it ended up twice a much as other places. The lady I had, Melissa, kept suggesting additional services as she did my hair, but I guess that's her job, to make the place more money as well as a bigger tip. And then I was never given a breakdown of the price at the end. My hair looks great. But yea pricey ($$$$). Like over $250 before tax and tip. I was like whatever at this point. That's why I'm giving 3 stars and not 4-5. For over $250 I expect something complex like balayage, not just cut, color, partial highlights, and toner. I would recommend going **somewhere else** for any routine regular color & cut, in order to stay on budget. I'll be back in a year or so. Lol read more

I have been going this salon for my hair and nails for two years, and the service has always been great! Whenever I'm pressed for time they multitask and make sure that I have everything I need. They are very attentive, and they care about my happiness when I'm leaving the salon. They give great tips on the latest trends, but they also consider how I feel and what I like. So I just got a pedicure there. The woman who did it did not properly sterilize the pedicure instruments! After the person who was sitting in the chair before me was done, she quickly rinsed the instruments with plain water only. Then she put it in the sterilization machine literally for 7 seconds then pulled it back out of the machine to use on me! So basically, she did it for show! I was so mad. Also, if you don't ask them to use the plastic in the sink, they won't! And they don't sanitize the sink in between customers! They just rinse w water! I hope I don't get an infection! Very friendly staff and owners. I went here for a powder gel manicure and pedicure, and was very happy with both. Two of my nails were broken, so the manicurist fixed them with silk wraps at no additional charge. The owner offered me a wash and blowout at a discount when I make my first hair appointment with them. I will certainly come back! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the manicurist was a bit unfamiliar with how to properly do a powder gel manicure and had to fix a couple nails once or twice, but they came out beautiful. I had an appointment with melissa at 6pm today and she stated she was finishing up w her last client. I had been on the search for a hair salon to cut my very style conscious teenage son's hair. We are so very happy with BAM and are thankful they moved into the area. We have been to several other places that would botch up his very thick hair with a no frills style and awful cowlicks, or we would have to wait for limited appointment times and pay $50 for a stylish hair cut that would only last 3 weeks and have pressure to buy their expensive products to recreate the look after a wash. We decided to give BAM a try before my son's prom in May. And for every three weeks since, my son has been religiously going back to them. The owner brothers, Boris, Arsen, and Mikhail are so nice and are amazing stylists (they make up the initials BAM). Every haircut has been awesome. My son looks amazing every time he comes out no matter which of the brothers cut his hair. Each has their own personality and style, and all listen and know what the younger fashion forward people want. The price is extremely reasonable...less than half of what we paid at the other salons. I will get my hair done there one day. I haven't had a professional person cut my hair in over 10 years. I cut my own which is very long and easy to cut and have enjoyed the savings, but when I see my son come out of BAM every time, I think...I want to look that good, too!
