I was on my own for breakfast on one of the days of my stay and found Panea nearby to my hotel. Upon my entry, I was helped by a super accommodating staff member who helped translate the menu for me so I could order exactly what I wanted. The service made the experience of this cafe pleasant. The cafe itself was also welcoming and cozy - warm, well lit, spacious. The food I ordered was delicious. Open face sandwiches with delicious European spreads and ham, plus a generous European latte. Yum! 5 stars. .

I visit Starbucks all over the world. As a frequent visitor it has come to feel like a good place to relax in general. Often I sit for a bit and grab a coffee after I'm settled. Never have I had this issue before. It's not good for Starbucks brand if patrons don't feel safe to relax in your establishment without someone trying to pinch a penny for every visit. So... I'm hoping this bottle water for €2.20 is enough rent money to buy me another 20mins stay.

If you really adore coffee and have got the extra time to sit down and enjoy a cup with a friend you normally just need to leave any city centre on this planet and find a nice little coffee shop with an experienced barista that puts the effort it needs to serve you a proper treat. If you just want to grab a fast one while shopping in town - go for it ;-)
