Was just approached by the staff and told "this isn't a waiting area". I needed to by something to stay. Among the sea of people here, it definitely feels uncomfortable being singled out. I visit Starbucks all over the world. As a frequent visitor it has come to feel like a good place to relax in general. Often I sit for a bit and grab a coffee after I'm settled. Never have I had this issue before. It's not good for Starbucks brand if patrons don't feel safe to relax in your establishment without someone trying to pinch a penny for every visit. So...
