The linen was often dirty and the rooms were unkept. The nurses lack poor communication skills and they are not compassionate. Elizabeth (a nurse) told me that my mom was not special, because I asked that she be changed asap. The social work department appeared disorganized as well. This facility is deplorable and requires help. The health department needs to do a visit and an inspection! The patients are only allowed two showers a week. That is nasty, dirty and disgusting! Bypass this facility at all cost, unless you plan on spending time there on a daily basis.

The facility has 8 large bedrooms, each with a beautiful view and en-suite or hallway bathroom access, plus a long-time, dedicated, and very caring staff. They plan enrichment activities for the residents (e.g., chair exercise, game show time, small art projects), and cook meals and snacks (like freshly baked cookies) in their lovely kitchen. We could not have been happier with the care my MIL received, and she was appropriately sent to a hospital when the staff noticed that she was eating poorly and began complaining of stomach pain, in what ended up to be her final illness.
