This place was recommended to me via my friends on Facebook. I inboxed Gei Mahnei and she responded promptly and professionally. After deciding what I wanted and needed for my sisters graduation party I was referred to her website to register and pay. The site was easy to navigate. She showed up on time and set up quicker than a blink of an eye. My mother was very pleased with her promptness and professionalism. I'm definitely going to be using her services again in the near future. Oh and her prices where very reasonable! read more

Beautiful colorful balloon bouquet with ribbons. Arrived on time. Would order again. Great for a party.

I've never used online delivery for flowers and a toy before, and I was really impressed with the service. It was so convenient, especially since there was snow outside. I was surprised by the choices they made for the toy and balloon, but I think they were great. Overall, I highly recommend their service! read more

Do not order from here I hosted a 50th birthday surprise party for my friend. Prior to the party I had gone back-and-forth with GINA at the company. I got many confusing emails and when I tried to get a direct answer, it did not happen. My fault should have ran at that point my party was starting at five. They arrived with the balloons at 5:15. They called 35 minutes after they were supposed to be there to say that there was a detour delay . When they arrived, she came in with a handful of balloons. They did not match any of what was written on the invoice except that they were silver. I also did not receive the amount of balloons that I was supposed to get after she brought the balloons in she said there were three more out in the car. She went out to the car to get them and never came back Paid and $355for 33 balloons I could've gotten at party city for $29 so run the other way as fast as you can. She offered a refund it has been seven days. She has some excuse about square app. I'm sure I'm not going to see that refund. It was a huge mistake using this company , make sure you look at other reviews. The real ones are hidden the fake ones are out front. I missed the ones that said it was a mistake. They were supposed to be three different color balloons and they were supposed to be metallic streamers. After promising a refund through square app and PayPal it never happened...believe the bad reviews read more

DO NOT USE!!! TOTAL SCAM!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!! Here are the issues I encountered: Late Arrival: The balloons were supposed to arrive and arranged for a birthday party before 1:00 PM on Saturday. I communicate, via email, that the set up began at 12:00 PM. A detail confirmed by Balloon Extraordinaire when I called at 12:32 PM to ask the status of my deliver. However, they didn't show up until 1:36 PM. THIRTY-SIX MINUTES INTO THE EVENT. Order Unfulfilled: Not only were the balloons late, but the order was also incomplete. I specifically requested and paid for 10-foot garland, an 8-foot garland and 10 bouquets of 3 balloons each for the tables. Instead, I received two 6 feet columns. Lack of Communication: Throughout this ordeal, communication was abysmal. I tried calling customer service line multiple times, but it always went to voicemail. I left messages, but no one bothered to return my calls. As a paying customer, I expected better responsiveness and transparency. When the order arrived onsite, there was no apology, no explanation for the extreme tardiness and when they finished their partially done order, they simply left! Overall Bad Experience: The combination of late delivery, incomplete order, and lack of communication has left me thoroughly dissatisfied, disappointed and overall furious. was promised a full refund, that I am still waiting for 10 days later. read more

DO NOT ORDER .... TOTAL SCAM ..... THEY TOOK ALL OF OUR PAYMENTS AND NEVER SHOWED UP. They also never called, texted, emailed. And they have not replied to several email attempts to contact them. I should have trusted my gut, and the bad reviews on Yelp, but there were good ones, too, so I went with it. AND NOW I'M OUT A LOT OF MONEY AND HAD NO BALLOONS AT OUR EVENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STEER CLEAR. Dishonest people are the worst. read more

We were trying to schedule a very last minute delivery of birthday balloons in Boston during a predicted snow/rainstorm. I sent them a request via their website, and received a call immediately. John was so helpful, arranged to coordinate a delivery time with the recipient, and delivered a beautiful bouquet of birthday balloons to my granddaughter! I highly recommend using them and would so again! read more

Gina went above and beyond for my family during this challenging time. I live outside of NYC and because of the current situation with Coronavirus we are unable to celebrate the 65th Birthdays of both my parents (they are two days apart). I reached out to Balloons Extraordinaire explaining the situation and received the sweetest response. They made beautiful displays for the front yard of my parents' house and even took a photo (social distancing, of course) so I could see them from afar. Thank you Gina and team! It means more than you know. read more

Our elementary school PTO, a nonprofit, hired this company to work at a fundraiser. They did not show up, did not call to tell us they wouldn't be coming and failed to refund our money after months of tracking them down. This company is dishonest and unethical. You should never use them. Stealing from a nonprofit that raises money for children is appauling and disgraceful. read more

We are so pleased that we called and had balloons done to decorate the Birthday Party we had in a nautical theme. The anchor that was made was unbelievable. What hard work and talent. And we where so thankful that they traveled an hour away to decorate and deliver it to our party and set up. Everyone loved it and took great pictures by it. We had a 3-year-old birthday party for my daughter last Saturday, and hired Balloons Extraordinaire to do balloon-twisting for the children for the last hour of the party. John F. was fantastic - I mean truly talented!! He was great with children -- asked each child what they wanted and designed a customized balloon for each kid. Not only did they leave with a party favor, but they were completely memorized by the balloon twisting for an entire hour (plus!). I highly recommend him not only for party entertainment, but check-out his website. He does balloon decorating for events and some of the stuff he designs is impressive. Stephanie read more

Balloons Extraordinaire helped me and my company out with a last minute request with not only great service but also great recommendations! We are located in New York City and they went above and beyond to help us deliver to a client in Boston, flawlessly. I needed flowers as well and they recommended the florist they use, Kim's Flower Shop, and I was blown away with their work. The floral arrangement came out amazing and I couldn't be happier. They delivered everything for me personally, even went out of their way to pick up something for me at another store, and delivered it all before the prompted time requested. Their outstanding service and happiness to help us out eased our short notice request worries. We are very happy that we found them and will 100% recommend them to anyone in need of their services! read more

Good selection and speedy service. Super reliable. You'll get exactly what you ask for!!

They came through for me at the last minute with a beautiful balloon pedestal for my daughter's 18th birthday. Great product, great service.

Great service and perfectly executed delivery! Made my 4 year olds birthday a huge hit! These guys really delivered all around!

I was at an event which John decorated and then twisted balloons at, and I have to say he is an incredibly talented individual. Both the people running the event and the people attending the event loved his balloon arch and balloon animals. He can literally make anything out of balloons, and everyone was impressed. read more

We had a great experience with this company! The balloons looked wonderful and they were able to do whatever we wanted with colors and decorations. They made us columns, bouquets and even balloons that floated in the pool! They came on time and were much better priced than people in the area. Some of the staff even helped us set a few things up before the party that were heavy. Very nice and easy to work with! I would recommend them to everyone! read more

We hired John on Feb 22nd for our son's first birthday party balloon decorations. Initially I was very skeptical given that I was unable to find any reviews for his company. We took a leap of faith and decided to hire him.... John and his team did a great job....better than my expectations! I had a party theme and was very specific about what I wanted. John was flexible to work with and delivered more than what I had asked for. I highly recommend him and will hire his team for future birthdays! Our guests couldn't stop talking about the balloons...thanks for making my party such a BIG SUCCESS! read more

First and foremost- I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to add extra flair to their events. I had the opportunity to work with John from Balloon Extraordinaire for a baby shower and it was amazing. He can create whatever you want; very professional, ON TIME and worth every penny. Our event was April 26th, 2014 and still to this day, people are talking about the balloon sculpture he made for us. His designs are very detailed and the company is willing to work with you, to make sure you get what you ask for. Please support the local businesses, especially this one!!! read more
