You told us how busy you were today having 2 other displays/events and it's obvious that we didn't get the best quality based on how busy you were. - We really just wanted to chat through this with you to figure out a reasonable updated price, but you avoided discussing it with us and never responded, so we made this review. - We did not say 6-7pm was fine for pickup. We mutually agreed on 4pm specifically bc our son goes to sleep between 6-7pm and we wanted everything from the party cleaned up before that. - The fact that it fell over again AFTER your employee supposedly fixed it, says it all. We had to go find bags of gravel to try to keep it standing during the middle of our party. - We did not leave her "equipment" in the street. We live in a nice neighborhood and we left your wooden boards near our front door, leaning safely against our house. - Gol was over 3 hours late to pickup her "equipment" so we actually thought we were doing her a favor, bringing everything to the front of our house. Super disappointed to be honest - these things happen. He reads the crowd of kids and finds the kid who seems a sad and cheers them up... the kid who had a little too much sugar calms them down. He was the toddler whisperer at our event. Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience using this business. There was miscommunication and…read moremisunderstanding possibly from both sides. I think we needed to have more in writing so it was very clear what the ask was and what could be done. Our verbal comms missed the mark. The end result although nice and worked ok, was not what I wanted. The balloon colors for my hot air balloon were off and I wanted 3D block letters but I got just 2D foam board cutouts with yard sticks attached. I asked for soft pastel Easter colors. I also described the colors as soft pink or yellow. I didn't realize when I hired her that the work would be outsourced. I incorrectly assumed one stop shop. I could've done that myself as I'd previously found other potential businesses. Within our correspondence, the pricing changed and I was thrown off by it because there was no heads up. The printing company she was using adjusted their prices. This is how I found out about outsourcing. Again, I incorrectly assumed printing was for the letter templates IOT trace and create the large 3D block letters. I know we discussed that I wanted large letter foam board cutouts like marquee that would stand on their own. I also provided inspiration pictures. The price that I paid was too expensive to not be what I believed ordered. I was very upset the day of my party and wished I would just taken off work to create the hot air balloon myself. I will note that I voiced my concerns about two days before to the party with the owner regarding the foam board order. She was very receptive and offered money back. I didn't speak to her again after that or reach out when the hot air balloon was put up. At that point, it just felt like we completely missed eachother in every convo and I didn't want to repeat the convo we already had two days prior. I definitely believe her team is talented but I wouldn't hire again.
