One star, because I can't go lower. You couldn't pay me enough to come back here- my hair is…read morefalling out in chunks after being over processed in bleach. I wanted so badly to leave a five start review, because the students, staff and instructor were kind...but my hair is snapping off and falling out. Staff refused to refund my money and now I'm stuck with overly processed, fake bleach blonde hair that I didn't want. I went in on Tuesday with some extensions and asked to be color matched. The student asked if I wanted to have lighter blonde or darker blonde- I told her "mmm, I don't know.. whatever you think would blend best". She said she would talk to her instructor and mix the color. Great! She comes back with the cost which was higher than I expected, but I agreed. I have naturally blonde hair and told her it would lift fast. She slathered my roots and ends in bleach and let it sit for 25 minutes. It felt like a long time, but I'm not in cosmetology so I trusted the process. I wish I had said something, but hindsight is always 20/20. The student washed me out, toned my hair, and sent me on my way. As I was driving home I touched my hair and my ends were snapping off all stringy and feeling like putty. I went home and showered and had hair falling out like crazy. The next day I was supposed to go back to get extensions. I told the students I was worried that the hair wouldn't match and was over processed and I was unhappy with it. The students agreed it wouldn't match and got their instructors to help me with toning. I told one of the instructors it was too blonde and she replied that she asked the student that did my color if I just wanted to do lowlights instead and I said that I wanted bleach blonde. Definitely would never ask for that as I know my natural color and I know bleach blonde wouldn't look good. Now I can see I was right. So since the student told the instructor the color is what I wanted, they wouldn't tone me. They said it looked fine and it would blend well once styled. Again- I trusted the process instead of my gut. I told them after the extensions were installed that I was still unhappy with the color and wanted it toned. They told me no that it looked great. After the instructors walked away, the students agreed it didn't blend and told me to get some toner and do it myself in a few days. The next morning I woke up and the extensions were already falling out. Some parts came untied, some had beads falling out, and other sections just simply slid down. I called and they refunded me for the extensions as my hair is falling out and they agreed they couldn't reinstall the extensions. They did, however refuse to refund the cost of coloring my hair since I didn't want to go back and have them color over it again. I explained I have bald spots and couldn't afford to have any more hair come out. They said their policy is only to fix the hair and not refund. I get the policy, but also if you over process my hair to the point it's falling out then I think a refund is in order. Be so cautious coming here and be overly specific with what you want/ don't want.

My child doesn't go to that school anymore. Looking back, I wish I hadn't kept her there for so…read morelong. Right from the start of school, there were some major issues - not enough teachers, the school director wasn't on top of things, and the school was all over the place. While my child was there for about a year and a half (I didn't have other choices at the time), she went through a lot of things that I thought were really not okay. The teachers always had excuses that didn't really make sense. What really upset me was when my child came home with marks one day. She had marks that looked like they were from an adult's nails, but they said it could have been from a bush or another kid's hand. I had already talked to the state about problems before, but I didn't see any improvements. The school director and the person in charge of the area just gave me excuses. Nothing worse than your child lifting their arm and saying "dada ouch, dada ouch" over and over. Because of what she went through from the start, my child started biting as a way to protect herself from all the bad stuff. I had cameras on her all day, so I know how often it happened. But the teachers didn't seem to notice as usual. After an investigation, they kicked my child out for biting. On that same day, we got a call from a much better school nearby. Since she moved there, my child is doing so much better - learning more, talking and signing better. I really think the old school and its staff were holding her back. If I could rate that place, I'd give it a 0 for all the awful stuff we had to deal with. Do your child a favor and stay away from here.

Most classrooms have their own speaker systems and access to A/C should you indulge in higher cardio dance classes. With two-levels of rooms, the downstairs also has a large auditorium-style room with a stage. If you happen to be preparing for a large-scale theater performance, this would be a perfect location for dress rehearsals or practices. The issue with SASPA mainly lies in availability - given the amount of available space with amenities, multiple groups want to book creating a small amount of chaos. That means you might hear bleed over music from a different style if you book a room next to another one. Otherwise, no complains in terms of space.

The way learning and love is incorporated there is something that I have not seen at any other facility. My daughters and my whole family have felt so special and heard and taken care of during our time at Little Oaks and that is a gift that I will always treasure. My daughters have had such amazing hands on learning opportunities while there, including growing their own plants, milking cows with a dairy farmer, and learning from first responders-just to name a few!
