Everything was replaced when they were finished (Carl's equipment was top notch, it took considerably less time to pump than I was expecting). The service was a good value for the money. Carl's was easy to reach, e.g. the phone was answered when I called. My expertise with the matter was sketchy at best but I was guided along and arrangements were made that fit into my congested schedule. This is not a service you (should) need every month, but Carl's is at the top of the list for septic service in my book.

The technician came out and charged us $151 for the repair. Right after he left, the washer was still squeaking, so we called him immediately. He told us to let it run and said he would call us when he got home to check if the problem stopped. He never called. During the very next load, the washer actually became much worse. It started grinding and making a loud knocking noise during the spin cycle, which it had never done before. It also sprayed oil all over a load of clothes, ruining them. We called him the next day and left a message. No return call. My husband called again the following day. Still no response. Our washer is now in worse condition than it was before he worked on it, and we are out $151 with no follow-up or accountability. Very disappointed with the service and lack of communication.
