It meets all the expectations: Bar tenders with thick Irish accents; heavy wood bar and furniture; strong drinks & great beer selections! Oh, and always a football (soccer) match on. BUT... don't ask them to show a Bayern Munich game here... as they might throw something at you. Nurnberg are direct rivals! Nettes Kaffee/Kneipe mit wechselnder Karte und teils sehr leckeren Gerichten. Entspannte Atmosphäre v.a. für Eltern, deren Kinder überall spielen dürfen. Glücklicherweise ziemlich geräumig, so dass viel Platz für Kinderwägen ist. Publikum wirkt gemischt und eher entspannt (Standardaccessoires: Instant Intellectual Glasses, Bart, Mütze und Baby auf dem Arm bei Männern und MacBook mit mindestens zwei Kleinkindern bei Frauen). Zum großen Teil sehr freundliches Personal. Große Auswahl an Büchern und Zeitungen. Schöne Sitzplätze. Qualitätsunterschiede beim Essen sind groß von Mal zu Mal. Oftmals sehr voll und unübersichtlich. Teils lange Wartezeiten an der Selbstbedienungstheke und auch für kleine Gerichte. Gruslige Damentoilette (riecht nicht gut, sieht nicht gut aus). read more

Dieses Cafe, hat das Potential mein neues Lieblingscafe zu werden. Ein bißchen Alternativ, ein bißchen heruntergekommen einfach zum gernhaben. Es herrscht Selbstbedinung, dann kann man sich wenigstens nicht über die Bedinung beschweren :-) Das Publikum ist bunt gemischt, oft auch Familien mit Kindern. Es gibt eine kleine Speisekarte, für den kleinen Hunger zwischen durch. Die Preise finde ich recht günstig, wo bekommt man schon nen großen Biokaffee schon für 2 EUR. read more

Wirklich einzigartige Location mit einem ganz besonderen Charme. Man wird nett und gut gelaunt bedient, eine gelungene Mischung aus dem typischen Flair von St. Johannis und Gostenhof. Leider schließt der Laden aber abends schon um 23 Uhr. read more
