Don't be fooled by the beard and tough guy appearance. Leroy is completely approachable and definitely knows his stuff. That can be said for the members in general and the sense of community this gym promotes. Everyone is happy to help and give you that extra boost of confidence when needed. Being open 24/7 should make your work/life balance easier to achieve and offered at a very affordable base membership of $30 per week. Add programming for $25 and 1:1 sessions for $70. The first 1:1 to establish your programme is included in the programme price. Unlike highly commercialised gyms such as Anytime or Planet fitness you won't have to deal with too many people or finding a park. Additionally, cardio is a bad word here so if you want endless rows of treadmills or bikes you best look elsewhere. Building a stronger you is their goal so weights are in abundance. I'm enjoying exercise again and look forward to what I can achieve.

Corey, Kate, Harley and Matt are supportive, motivational, informative and professional with a no nonsense motto but maintaining approachability. I get up once a week for a 6am session which would have been unthinkable only a few months ago and I attend 3 nights a week for a full on session of either upper/lower body or conditioning training. I'm seeing great results that I know I would never have achieved without the help and guidance of The Pit team. It's a great environment to exercise and socialize too. Free yoga for members or $10 for non members Friday's at 5:30pm and 8:30am Saturday fundraiser bootcamp with a minimum $5 donation for anyone to attend. Take the plunge and start your body transformation. You will sweat, you might puke and at times you will curse but it is all worth it.
