Mark was recommended to us and I can not believe how he designed this beautiful Oasis in the middle of Bay Park and transformed our 90 year old house in a modern, beachy, cosy, contemporary master piece. We couldn't be happier going with Mark. He took his time to sit down with us, explaining us the process, drafting a couple layouts that were revised a few times. Mark does not only design beautiful houses, he also understands the permitting process and ensures a smooth construction phase. I highly recommend working with Mark for any home project!

The project far exceeded our high expectations. Amazing vibe. Functional space. Under budget. On time delivery. Everything went smoothly as we moved 75 people into our high tech office. Our employees LOVED the space. Increased employee engagement and productivity. The second time I hired Dimple at DH Design was to fix the mess made by the first designer we hired for our 3,600 square foot home in Santaluz. Dimple transformed the disastrous first design into something that we love. She is wonderful at finding amazing deals on furniture and fixtures that turned an Italian Baroque into a contemporary Mediterranean home that perfect fits our personalities and styles. Again: Under budget, on time delivery, no excuses, no drama. Unlike most designers, Dimple designs for YOU (not herself). She listens, takes ownership, is organized, and puts her clients' interests first. Don't waste your time with other designers. She's the best.

What we needed and seemingly could not find was an honest estimate of costs, an architect who could help us design our project and drive the permit process, and a contractor to build the project. Finally we happened upon STEL Builders. Cory, a walking advertisement for why you need to contract with STEL, jumped on our project and quickly gave us a realistic idea of costs. He introduced us to Frank, who is an awesome person and STEL's in-house architect. Frank gave us three options of drawings to choose from. Each option met our basic requirements and also outlined possible upgrades. Based on our budget, we committed to a plan. Within two months we had permits and construction began. We were assigned a dedicated project manager with whom we met weekly to assess progress in demo and ultimately new construction. Even before demo began, we met our design angel in Ivette. She guided us through selection of fixtures, cabinetry, tile, wall coverings, flooring; all the aspects of a remodel that keeps novices like us up at night. Her calm demeanor combined with her creative ideas made this an amazingly pleasurable experience! Ivette led us to our dream design outcome, and all within the budget we worked out with savant Cory in the beginning. STEL has great relationships with all the best subcontractors & receives priority on their projects, keeping the downtime in construction to a minimum. Midway through construction, our project manager left STEL. They hired a super pro replacement in Roberto. His many years of experience enabled us to stay on track for completion and enhanced the quality of the final product. Roberto is already a tremendous asset to STEL! And all along, even as he continued to take on new projects, Cory stayed in touch and treated us as if we were his only client. No question or inquiry we had was too small or insignificant for him to address nearly as quickly as it was expressed. We moved back into our home after six months and felt like every dream we had dreamt for our forever home had come true. The outcome has exceeded our very high expectations. In Cory's introduction, he touted STEL as a small, family oriented and local Design & Build Company. He was right about that. However, we think he understated how committed to these values Seth Larson and STEL Builders really are. They get it! For people like us, this is the largest and last big expenditure we'll ever make. They treated us with respect, congeniality, honesty and integrity. Our lives and our home from now on are forever enhanced from having met and worked with Cory, Frank, Ivette and Roberto. Thank you Seth Larson for the team you've built. Thank you STEL Builders, our new extended family!

After interviewing several interior designers in 2021 for our whole-home remodel and new build,…read moreselecting Esteban Interiors proved to be not only the best decision for our project, but one of the most meaningful investments we have ever made in our home and our quality of life. From our first meeting, it was immediately clear that Esteban and his team were exceptional. They didn't simply listen to our vision. They understood it. More importantly, they understood why it mattered. Although our aesthetic differed from what is typically seen in San Diego, it was embraced with enthusiasm, respect, and remarkable sensitivity. The result was a home that feels deeply personal, refined, and far more beautiful than we ever imagined. In a market where many designers adhere to a single "coastal" formula, Esteban stands apart for his rare versatility and depth. His mastery of modern, traditional, and mid-century design brings a level of sophistication and artistic range that is truly uncommon. Beyond conceptual ideas and mood boards, Esteban Interiors delivers fully realized visual renderings and detailed 3D plans, allowing clients to experience how a space will feel long before installation begins. Every detail, from moulding profiles and lighting to furniture placement, feels intentional, cohesive, and precisely tailored. Working within a defined budget, the team demonstrated exceptional skill in balancing custom, statement-making pieces with thoughtfully value-engineered selections. At no point was the integrity or beauty of the design compromised. Our budget was respected at every stage, and we were consistently presented with options that felt both aspirational and attainable. Throughout construction, their stewardship of our home was outstanding. Frequent site visits, meticulous oversight, and calm problem-solving ensured that every detail was executed flawlessly. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care were evident in every interaction. Four years later, when it came time to expand our home, there was no hesitation in returning to Esteban Interiors. Once again, the experience exceeded expectations. The process was just as inspiring as the first, and today, every room in our home reflects their thoughtful and cohesive design approach. Our home is now more than a collection of rooms. It is a sanctuary. Each space feels purposeful, every detail tells a story, and the result is a home that truly reflects who we are. It is a gift we never take for granted, and one we owe entirely to Esteban and his exceptional team. Whether this is your first time working with an interior designer or you have experience with others, I can say with complete confidence that choosing Esteban Interiors will be one of the most rewarding and transformative decisions you can make for your home. It had 3 bedrooms and about five different living Spaces. It was old & beat up but the land was about an acre and a half. We turn this little dump into a jewel of Bonita. Huge open layout , 1500 square feet of deck , indoor outdoor living , a kitchen to die for , bathrooms so cozy you'd want to sleep in . With the guidance, vision and help of Elena our designer this became the house of our dreams. Unfortunately it also became the house of someone else's dreams as soon as we were done ! Soon enough , even though we got an offer we couldn't refuse ! A huge pay day ! This little project home because of Elka interiors became a huge profiting flip of a home which was our steppingstone to bigger and better things to come. Not only did you make this experience and easy and amazing one but you made it a profitable one !!! Thanks for all of you insight and patience !
