Life got busy and well one day I was forced into a Hallmark store and now I'm hooked. Occasionally I will still construct my own cards but going to a Hallmark store usually sparks some creative juices. This is the ultimate card superstore! Tons and tons of cards (birthday, anniversary, children's, sympathy). The variety is amazing and the wording is perfect. When I need a card and don't have time to hand craft one this is the place I go. The only problem I have is narrowing down my selections. I think on my last trip I spent at least 30 minutes per card. I had so many to pick from, sure there's a markup but sometimes its worth it when you're lost for words. They seem to fill their store up with seasonal cards. Currently the entire store is stocked with Valentine's day items. I found the selection of birthday cards and thank yous to be skimpy. Online is the best place for Hallmark cards but half of the time I don't plan well in advance so off to the store I go. I like to see my cards in person and not a fan of mass produced cards. Hallmark cards are constructed better than other cards. I've had cards that were purchased awhile ago and they're in their original color no discoloration noted. Hallmark stores also carry Vera Bradley bags. Discontinued patterns are dirt cheap and there's always a great selection. I love particular store because it's a one stop shopping trip when adding the finishing touch to any gift. This Hallmark store is better than the one at the mall because I can spend hours reading the cards and not be bothered by other shoppers. For now Hallmark cards will do until I have time hand craft personalize cards again. Even if the stuff in here is expensive it is worth it when you only need one.

I'm so glad I found this place! Good Vibes is an awesome gift and flower shop. The owner, Melody, is super nice and helpful. She made a gorgeous flower arrangement on the spot for me. The gift selection is great, with lots of cute, fun, beautiful, and unique gifts for all occasions, and many of the items are crafted locally. She has gifts for new babies, weddings, pets, friendship, and nice things for the home, as well as really cute purses. Purchasing a gift from this shop not only benefits a small business and the local community, but it ensures you will have something unique that you can't, for example, just buy at Target. Plus, the shop is dog friendly! Melody had a treat at hand for my dog. I will definitely be back the next time I need a quick gift and will spread the word about Good Vibes!

Well, after finally going in, I realized that the store used to be in Bristol Centre Mall before it was torn down and I used to go there when I was little. So of course nostalgia sets in and I'm in love. Eclectic is most likely the best word I can use to describe the store. Well, a tad crowded is also another good description but I guess the owner is truly going for more choices instead of streamlined simplicity. The owners name is Patty, she is a pip who loves to wait on you and give you deals on incense, beanie babies, concert tshirts or that charm you just have to have. This little store has so much charm and you just would never know when you drive by the dream catchers in the window that the character inside isn't just in the merchandise, it's in the spirit of that shop owner.
