They were very responsive via email and I received a text from our assigned babysitter, Judith, the day before. Since our full-time nanny couldn't join us on this trip, I was initially a bit nervous about bringing someone new into the mix. Judith put us at ease from the moment we met. She has such a comforting and kind demeanor, and our 19 month old took to her immediately. He's full of energy and constantly on the move, but Judith was more than up for the challenge, keeping him safe, engaged, and happy throughout our stay. She learned his routine very quickly, took him to kids club, and went swimming with him almost every day. She was also always on time and flexible with her schedule, which was very much appreciated. We booked a couple of sessions with Baja Babysitting this week for our 18 month old son. Michelle was early to the appointment, communicated well, and was very good with our son who was not happy about us leaving him. We ended up having to cut the time short due to my wife not feeling well. Ana from the company and Michelle were both very supportive and even offered to go out to town to get us anything we needed. We loved having Vecany, Johanna and Jimena take care of our 3-month-old baby and 4-year-old son so my husband and I could have a little bit of a vacation. They were so great with our kids that we hired them 3 more times even though we had only planned on only having them one afternoon. I am very cautious about who interacts with my kids and definitely felt nervous about the entire situation, but all of those anxieties disappeared when we met the ladies. They're so sweet, attentive and willing to do whatever it takes to make our kids happy. For example, my newborn suffers from reflux and can't comfortably sleep laying flat. Vecany had no issues not only baby wearing him, but she also walked him all over the resort while he snuggled in the baby carrier to nap. Johanna and Jimena were also so much fun with our rambunctious 4-year-old. Johanna brought some artisanal breads for him and bubbles. Within 5 minutes he pretty much forgot we were in the room and we were able to leave without any tears -- which was pretty shocking since he's attached to my leg. He had so much fun with them that in the two months since we left Cabo, he still asks when we're going to see "mama's friends" again. Extremely professional and trustworthy group of childcare providers. We have used Baja Babysitting for 2 Cabo trips when our son was 2yrs and 4yrs (most recent). Dani (Daniela) and Marisa came to help us out on 3 different days for this last trip so we could golf. I am the protective/worrying type parent, and as soon as these sitters showed up I was instantly at ease. They took all safety measures I asked and they both spoke perfect English. My son even asked us on the last day if we were golfing because he was excited to see the babysitter again! The sitters are definitely accustomed to swimming with kids in pools at resorts often, and know how to keep them safe and entertained. That way the kids can have fun while the adults play too. Renee was wonderful, caring and extremely attentive with our 2 toddlers. Our friend's son had to join with short notice and Renee was very accommodating. He has many severe allergies and she did a great job making sure he was safe and able to enjoy dinner while he was with her.
