Bain's appliance parts and services do repairs and sell "scratch and dent" items (typically Frigidaire from their sister store on St. Mary's Rd.). I bought a couple of high-end Frigidaire appliances from them a few years ago and also had them come in for repairs on a European washing machine. The appliances were supposed to have scratches or dents somewhere but I never could find them (supposedly at the back) and they were discounted by about 30%. I am still happy with them after 8 years of use. The repair guys are in general knowledgeable and friendly, and the rates are fair. The owner is great and always tries to help the customers and keep them satisfied. The only drawback are some of the office staff who answer the phone. There was a lady (I think she still works there) who gave me a hard time every time I called, deying their comittment for service or price quote the owner made earlier etc. But if you can get around this person, it's a great store. read more
