The Paragon Casino is a nice establishment, and provides great service. I had a work social here,…read morehosted in the casino's ball room. The venue was beautiful. The customer service I received was genuine and friendly (Housekeeping, Security, and the Desk Receptionists). The South Tower Rooms are older, but the restrooms were fairly in better shape. I had co-workers stay in the North Tower, and stated the rooms were refurbished and nicer. I didn't gamble or use the slot machines, but the scenery looked good from what I saw. I'd recommend this location for leisure, work functions, and just a place to visit!

Google Hotel was not what I expected as quality grade. Check…read morein went smooth but when arriving at my room things went downhill fast! Room was not very inviting and was somewhat outdated. Air conditioning was mounted under windows and verrry noisy. Pillows were small for a king size bed. Wall recepticals loose and plugs falling out. Refrigerator sat on the soft padded bench instead of in cabinet where it belongs, that's a fire hazard. Bathroom was a complete catastrophe, the shower had no light in it and had to shower by a light recessed in ceiling 5 feet away. Soap dispenser in shower didn't work probably empty! Had to shower with shampoo. Water temp was barely warm enough to shower. We ate at Roxy's diner in casino and the food was horrible. Wife was complaining of stomach issues. Fried fish was super salty and muddy tasting. Onion rings were under cooked and was just a mess of under cooked batter. Casino was like a ghost town and machines not paying at all. Overall experience was underwhelming by far. Probably will never return!

5/16/2018 - I positively make it a point to see any and all action movies in the GPX. If you think…read moreStar Wars or Star Trek, the Avengers ... any of those are good in the standard theater you will be amazed by the GPX. The big, plush rockers with nice cup holders, the full-wall screen, which in itself is an upgrade from the standard but then you throw in 3D and a 67 channel (I believe) Surround Sound system and your entertainment experience is "out of this world". The people have always been polite. The last Star Trek I saw there, they forgot it was supposed to be 3D. About 10 minutes into the movie I finally went and told the management, they started the movie over for us after changing formats. Sure, if you go to the snack bar expecting to get a coke and hot dog for a buck fifty then you haven't been to many theaters. These people do need to make a profit. Support your local theater when you can. If it were to close up, how far would you have to go to see a movie on the big screen? I'll be there tonight ....... in the GPX!! Update - 12/14/2019: Well, I'm bummed. As you can tell from my previous post, I've always Loved the GPX 3D movie experience. In my opinion, you have to be on set to do any better. Well, for some reason, management has decided to stop showing GPX 3D movies. Now if you want 3D, it has to be in a standard theater. A real step down. I still try to support my theater but I would rather drive to Baton Rouge to see The Rise of Skywalker in IMAX 3D. Oh, and they DO list the names of the movie at each theater. You only need to look up.

I found out that they leave the lights on during movies now. Had been two weeks prior and that…read morewasn't a problem. Nobody goes to the theater to see a movie with the lights on. Better to rent them at home and be able to watch in the dark for less money.

Why, because surely she was up to simething. He searched her purse and she had a tiny bag(sandwich size) from a mall store with 1 pair or earings and for that she couldnt bring package(which was tucked in a small pocket inside her zipped purse) or her purse into the movie that we already paid for. She was 12 yrs old and this happened before i knew.we paid for a movie that we missed 30 minutes of and he refused to let us watch a later viewing. He said it was our choice to miss 30 minutes. He just kept saying she has a bag in her purse...its against the rules. Thing is he had zero right to search her. This is only 1 of the horrible incidents. Too long to type all the crap he's done. Theaters often has leaks when it rains, smell bad and, collapsing roof. Literely had water and debris fall on me. Ill drive an hour to go elsewhere

I listened to him argue with customers when he should have apologized. He was asking every ticket buyer if they had a Regal card. The couple in front of me handed him their Regal card along with hundred dollar bill. He handed it back and pointed to a sign in the window that said no big bills accepted. They paid with smaller bills and asked about the Regal card. He announced that they should have told him they had a Regal card. They said they did. He said he is hard of hearing. The gentleman customer said me too I have hearing aids. Then manager said he couldn't afford the 1800 to buy them. Once in the inside I could hear him talking in a very condescending tone to the employees.
