Friendly and very helpful. We have regularly used this garage for puncture repair, new tyres, servicing and MOT and have been very happy with the service and find it good value for money. Today the car was making an odd noise and I called in on my way past. The mechanic stopped the job they were doing to check my car for me. Sorted in 5 minutes and on my way. Charged £296 to replace all 4 brake pipes to get car through it's MOT. I have since learned that this was very unlikely to have been necessary on a car 5 years old with under 40000 miles on it and is also grossly over-priced. Also when they called I was told that it would cost £300 total for the work to be carried out but was then presented with a bill for £340 when collecting the car. I did argue about this but was fobbed off with a load of rubbish about how it was on the computer system so I couldn't possibly have been told the wrong price. Feel like I've been completely ripped off and would recommend that anyone else steer clear of this garage. read more
