Sure, it does look like a 60's building, but I guess that is fairly typical of their railway…read morestations. Mind you, it isn't as if they don't have nice railway stations in German, they certainly do, but sadly Saarbrucken really isn't one of them. However, while the station may not be all that great, the trains certainly are, unless you happen to be crossing over into France they you will actually discover that Europe isn't all flashy highspeed rail (though I do remember they did run a high speed train through here to Paris). Mind you, as I mentioned, the trains are fairly frequent, and the station isn't all that bad either, it's just not too fancy.
