The FUV was easy to handle, well-maintained, and made the ride both safe and thrilling. TJ the owner was very accommodating , knowledgeable and friendly. We explored areas which we never would have seen otherwise, from lush local beaches to panoramic lookouts that felt like something out of a postcard. We loved the mix of adventure and relaxation: riding through the local area, then pausing to take in stunning views and snap photos the next. It was the perfect way to see the natural beauty of Hawaii while adding an adrenaline rush to the day. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Hawaii--it's fun, adventurous, and truly unforgettable. We will definitely do it again!

Herman was very responsive by text, met us at the appointed times and it was a breeze to organize this much needed transportation around the island. Will be back, and renting from KCCCR again!

Wiper blades were old and left big streaks when it rained. Wiper fluid was out, so my visibility was poor and I didn't feel comfortable driving it at night, the headlights were really dim. Driving around on an island where it rains often, I really think having functional wiper blades is a low bar to clear. The sliding doors were really difficult to open, very sticky and our kids struggled to open them themselves. The locking mechanisms were weird and no buttons on the key fob worked. Giving a star for the customer service and shuttle service which was friendly and fast.

Our Airbnb host recommended this business, and we were genuinely excited to support a local small…read morebusiness instead of renting from a large company. Unfortunately, after our experience communicating with the owner, we decided to make other transportation arrangements. We wanted to support local, but professionalism ultimately mattered more. The advertised price wasn't worth the experience. Before we had even signed a rental agreement, communication became increasingly combative. We were asked to provide additional insurance documentation, which we worked to obtain. While verifying insurance is a perfectly reasonable requirement, the tone of the communication quickly became hostile and condescending. At one point, while we were still trying to provide the requested documents, we were told, "This doesn't have to be difficult." When we ultimately decided to cancel before the rental began, the communication became even more unprofessional. Rather than simply processing the cancellation, the owner sent a lengthy email accusing us of being "impatient," lecturing us about how many hours she works, how much money she was giving up by honoring our reservation, and comparing us to her other customers. None of those comments were relevant to our reservation, and they were completely inappropriate to direct at a customer. I understand that running a small business is stressful, but customers shouldn't be guilt-tripped or personally criticized for asking reasonable questions or deciding not to move forward with a rental. We left the interaction feeling uncomfortable and relieved that we chose another rental company. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this business.
