I saw Baguio Brewery on social media in Luzon and was so excited to see they had a location out here in Cebu that I had to try it when I came back. Although I came here on an off night, I was still happily seated to try out their balut and brews. Was it worth it? The drinks were delicious but have to say that the balut was not my cup of tea. The flavor was different but I felt I barely ate a chick. So it was mostly made of egg yolk and topped with spicy sauce. I actually enjoyed their fried empanadas better and devoured them first. But personally what made the experience better was the drinks. They have a lot to choose from from different flavors. There is something for everyone! I don't exactly remember which drink I got, but knowingly they make fruit flavored brews from mango to kiwi! All of these drinks are by Baguio Brewery so you are supporting a local Philippine made business... By women! Very cool.
The "interior" could have been better and the mosquito problem could have been solved with fans or some sort of repellent. Other than that, there's an upstairs section, bar, and tables on the ground floor. Near Sugbo Mercado.
Cash only.
