That is where all of our loved ones services have been held. From the very first phone call to Charlie, we immediately knew we were where we needed to be. The home itself is amazing. Its grandeur and character welcomed us with a sense of peace and familiarity, with memories flooding back of the traditional services our parents and grandparents had there. However, there was one thing about Hollis that we didn't realize had changed. Charlie teamed up with his daughter, Eileen - and they couldn't make a better team! Charlie had already earned our business with his charming personality, years of experience, and the comfort of traditions. Eileen brought an even further sense of compassion and comfort to the experience. She is lightheaded, innovative and reassuringly professional. We highly recommend Hollis Funeral Home ! Whether you are looking for a service that is less formal and more personal, or you prefer the traditional, Charlie and Eileen will make it happen. You'll leave feeling like you have been taken care of by dear friends.

If I could give them a zero, I would. When my family meet with the director after my grandmother…read morepassed away, he never even express any condolences. No sympathy...no empathy. Then on the day of her funeral we had a family member traveling in from our of town who was running a little late. We one family member mentioned this to the director he said they had a schedule to keep. I found out the family member would be there in less than 5 minutes. When the director was approached again by a family member of the departed she was told, "Father had a schedule to keep." What kind of professional in this type of business can be so heartless, so inconsiderate, so non empathic? If you have a family member that has passed this is NOT a business I would ever suggest. They obviously only care about a "schedule" and not the grieving family. They are supposed to be in the business of comforting those who are grieving. We received more comfort from the homeless passing by who at least said he was sorry for our loss. One word......HORRIBLE!!!!!!
