Now that he is passed, McGowan looks after my mother's investments and is always ready to help her or answer any questions. Alex at McGowan's helped me set up a fund that was granted to me in a divorce settlement: a very small fund, but when I need his help (such as understanding how an IRA is affected by bankruptcy), he answered my questions and concerns immediately in a way I could understand. Yes, this investment firm like all others is seeking out the "big" investors, but they are just as conscientious in managing smaller accounts and providing solid advice and recommendations to their "common man" clients.

I worked for Jumpstart Capital Advisory Group / Nikole under a signed agreement and completed work for the company. After my work was completed, I was left with an unpaid balance of $802.00. I followed up multiple times starting June 19, 2026, and was told that payroll/payment was being processed. I also have written proof that she previously acknowledged I was a good worker and that she was not avoiding paying me. Despite that, the payment was not received. When I continued asking for the balance owed, the situation shifted into accusations about my work. I strongly deny doing anything harmful toward the business. I showed up consistently, worked honestly, and provided the best service I could with the tools, training, and instructions given to me. This review is not about clients, private company materials, or confidential information. I am only sharing my own experience regarding unpaid compensation, repeated payment delays, and the way the matter was handled after I asked to be paid. As of this review, the $802.00 balance remains unpaid. I am requesting that the company settle the remaining balance through Wise so this matter can be closed.
