I put a lot of trust in her as I had never worked with an attorney before, and by paying her a much higher than standard price I was expecting support and guidance. The first worrying point was that our filing with her was missing union letters, which she did not request and simply asked me: Why didn't you do it myself? Although this is usually a task that attorneys are required to at least track down. Then when it came to the plan to file a request for evidence and she probably already knew what was going to happen, she abruptly changed her rhetoric and started explaining that I had a very bad case and that I would have to appeal. Of course, both RFE and appeal cost money and at some point I started to think that she did not care at all about my fate in the US and wanted to make money on an immigrant who ended up in this country by accident. The cherry on the cake was that she also managed to undermine the process of getting my real ID - I was at the DMV who demanded proof from me that I had applied for a visa and that I was in the process, Anna sent a photo of this document which was not accepted as the DMV demanded the original. Anna was on vacation somewhere else in another country and would not facilitate the transfer of this document and moreover she even sent me to have her son look for these documents, as a result of which I spent an hour waiting only to hear: Oh I can't find anything sorry If your life and future depend on this person, do not trust her under any circumstances, even ordinary phone calls with her were conducted in a contemptuous tone towards me, with constant interruptions and some kind of disrespect and the feeling that I was being scolded for asking questions

Privacy Breach: She forwarded confidential communications to a non-firm family member (dad at home). 4.I only met this lawyer twice. Once was via telephone interpreter, and the other was just a brief conversation. My English is limited, and I couldn't communicate in English at all. After signing the contract, the lawyer immediately took it away. More than a month later, after we repeatedly asked her to return the contract, she finally did, claiming that I was mentally unstable.
