Three versions of double smashburgers, fries. That's it. I started with the OG. Two patties, American cheese, onions, pickles, burger sauce. First the bun. It's nicely griddled but it's brioche; sickenly sweet. Use a Mrs Bairds bun please. The patties had crispy crusts, and the cheese was nicely melted. The onions were missing, which for me is a serious problem. The pickles were ok, the sauce a bit lacking. Should have just gotten mustard. $12 is high in my opinion for this burger for its place in the market. Around the corner is Mr B's excellent craft burgers for less money. The fries were bad. Frozen fries for 4 bucks is expensive; at that price they should be fresh cut. Worse, the oil was old and reeked; the fries had an unpleasant aftertaste. No excuses for that. I hope they get their consistency improved as they have some good buzz out there. They need to understand pricing and cost modeling and get their prices in line. I was disappointed in my $16 lunch.

I came back on early Saturday evening after a nice cooling rain. It was pleasantly not crowded. I got a couple of empanadas from one truck and a couple of smash burgers from another. Both items were delicious. When I go back, I want to try something from the hibachi grill. I got an Oakcliff smashburger and my son enjoyed a Dallas. We loved our burgers. You could tell they were made fresh with chunks of avocado and bacon for me! The empanadas were good if a bit small. The dough pocket could have been premade, so I'll have to try something else from that food truck. That's the beauty and draw of a food truck park as pi your able to try have what you want and still eat together! I hope people come out and give this place a try.
