I keep coming back again and again to Source for Sports…read more They consistently have what we need for hockey when other larger retailers are out. And I've yet to see a better price elsewhere! Just today we needed a second pair of compression pants for my hockey kiddo and I got two pairs on clearance here for $20 when they were $70+ just down the street at Sport Check. Plus, we totally lucked out and got help today from Amber (I think???) longtime hockey player who has worked here for years and still picks up the occasional shift. She's baked our skates, fixed stance issues, custom fit super feet, and been all around awesome for us on numerous visits. Protein - prepay for skate sharpenings here to save money and to save time for drop off/pick up! We also get names screened onto jerseys here - whether for soccer or hockey, we've never had a problem with the cresting coming off. We have had an oopsie what they crested but it was fixed quickly and not the end of the world. See you soon Source for Sports, see you soon!

I especially am fond of the service department where I have taken my bikes in for tune ups and flat tires. They are always able to get the work done in a timely manner and the price is way better than other shops i. St. Albert. The staff is always really great. They are helpful and kind and that makes the whole experience all around great. Tons of parking too, what more could you ask for?

This review is particularly for the run shop side of the business; the ski shop would need a separate review :) They have a nice selection of particular runner brands, like the Altras, which are starting to make a name for themselves as the only "zero-drop" athletic footwear (I believe). The space is small but well used, having shoes line the sides of 2 walls, with some running gear on another wall, and the treadmill in the corner to perform the video gait analysis. This program helps the staff figure out the best footwear for you, taking into consideration the analysis results, your current running/hiking lifestyle and your desires in looking for that best-matched shoe They helped me pick out my first pair of Altras to improve my running technique with my flat-footed dew-beaters The shoes look stunning and feel pretty good with a wider midsole space for my flat arches to fall on (versus falling out of my shoe on the inside of my foot). Looking forward to a powerful trail running season! ‍

My feet don't have a lot of tread left on them, so good brands are more than just a treat to me. The frosting on the cake (or the pedicure), though, is the wonderfully helpful staff, who happily brought out pair after pair for me to try, and really listened to what I needed and made thoughtful suggestions. Too often shoe stores now consist of mostly DIY, which I find limits both my knowledge and patience in choosing the best shoe for me. The store I located in the St. Albert Centre and is clean with nice displays.
